Alone?

Waking up was the hard part. Kokichi realized instantly when he was greeted by the white ceiling the smell of old people and the sound of a heart monitor what had happened.

The killing game was fake. Just a virtual reality shown to the world to broadcast it's stupid entertainment...

The memories, the trauma, the feelings, and the shock was all real. Kokichi couldn't move, speak and felt his body protesting constantly at his sudden consciousness.

"Welp that's just great. Everything I've done has been for nothing. I really am the worst and I should of died." Kokichi thinks bitterly.

It be two months before he could truly recover. In that time a few people visited him like Kaito, Shuichi, Kaede, Rantaro and Gonta sometimes Kiibo and Tsumugi. On rare days Himiko and Tenko reluctantly show up. So it's not like if everyone hates him. Even Miu showed up and forgave him even though he didn't deserve it. He couldn't talk to them in anyway or even write anything, but he was grateful they cared enough to show up.

Kirumi even showed up to deliver flowers and get well cards from the group and Ryoma snuck in a cat letting it out on Kokichi to cheer him up which Kokichi loved him for.

Honestly they took their times interacting with the mute Kokichi that he wish he could rip his vocal cords out. If he never has to speak again than they can just imagine as this pathetic but broken boy and care about him.

No... he wasn't that desperate for their friendship and forgiveness that he'd swallow his pride like that. Now days he finds himself giving them angrily looks not meaning to and now everyone visits him less and less.

When he could finally walk he was also learning to speak again. He also had to relearn how put his mask up as that's something he struggled to do.

Finally the day came when he could be released and the office was trying to get ahold of anyone related to him. They must of been struggling for a long time. Kokichi thought he was an orphan with the delay, but no.

"Mister Oma. We finally got ahold of your father. He'll be here shortly." The nurse explained and Kokichi nodded.

Later that day Kokichi heard a crowd of people screaming and walked toward the entrance of the hospital in confusion.

"Oh my god! It's Shimono! Shimono!!!" The people screamed as a tall purple haired man slipped out of limo and rushed inside.

"Ugh... finally escaped them. Where's my boy at?" The purple haired man scanned the area and sees Kokichi who stares at him in awe and nearly broke down in tears as he hugged Kokichi softly.

"You are...." He pulls back to look at Kokichi, "Kokichi... thank god your okay. I finally found one of you." He wept.

"Uh..." Kokichi wasn't sure what to say as he didn't remember this man at all, "Please take care of me daddy." Kokichi winced shyly.

Shimono sighed and nodded patting Kokichi's back, "Kokichi. I have so much I want to say, but not here. Come I take you home. We'll be safe more less there." He explains and leads Kokichi into the limo.

Soon they headed toward the slums to an old castle and the body guards got out first calling the future foundation to kick the fans completely out of the slums.

Shimono takes Kokichi's hand and smiled as he walks out of the limo, "Alright let's." He froze as he tenses up looking at the window and Kokichi looks at the window confused.

Bang bang bang! A sniper from the second story window killed the body guards in one single instant making Kokichi cling to his dad in fear. Than the door swung open and there stepped out a boy who looked just like Kokichi being held at gun point looking very indifferent about it.
