-Christmas at The Holy Salvation Society-

The teenagers gathered around at dawn in the main hall as usual to begin preparing their normal routine, however their master was waiting for them. They decided to line up with Shindo taking the the first row with Akamine next to him than Nishi and Hirose behind them. Next row was Nagano, Chinen, Harada and her sister Marori were in the next row. Than it was Nova with Sawa and Sugai in the final row. 

"Good morning children. Have you all been keeping up with the calendar?" Aku asked in a matter fact of tone.

"Yes. Master. This is the week of the Christian holiday Christmas. It's also Hanukkah week. Than after Christmas we have to plan out Three Kings Day... oh and we wouldn't dare forget the Winter Solstice! We've already cleaned from celebrating St. Lucia Day and St. Nicholas Day. Than we have to also do something for Kwanzaa and the New's Years. Luckily Hanukkah is the 18th this month making planning a bit easier." Shindo sighed in relief.

"I hate the holidays." Nishi sighed.

"Would you rather be killing instead of doing your church duties?" Aku chuckled.

Nishi goes pale, "No... Holidays are great master. I love the holidays." Nishi shivered.

"I'm so glad to have someone like Shindo, who's on top of such matters and lovely Akamine, who's always getting it prepared with perfection while being a great hostess. How did I ever get so lucky to have you both on my elite team?" Aku gushed creepily.

"How indeed?" Shindo thinks trying not to role his eyes wanting to sigh.

"Very well. It seems it was pointless of me to check in all of you. You all practically don't even need me here anymore....." Aku hummed.

There was a long and awkward silence that made the assassin feel a bit on edge.

"Of course you'd be wrong. Without me. You'd all fall apart to quickly and let everything unravel and collapse." Aku nervously spoke.

"You keep telling yourself that." Shindo thinks closing his eyes.

No one said anything and Aku just looked more tense and stressed as he glared at them all, "Master...." Shindo sighed finally answering him, "We are still far to young to be allowed to freely to live alone. You provide us a way for us to stay together and have a roof under our heads. Also keeping us from the very dumb folk, who would fail to understand us due to our teachings..." Shindo explains softly.

"I didn't ask you to try comfort me!" Aku hissed, "You mistake my cautiousness as fear!" He spat, "I trained you all. I know you'll not betray me. I have ways to make sure of that." Aku was definitely on guard now.

Shindo flinched as he caught the sight of some of his teammates give him a dirty look for even speaking in the first place.

"It's not fear. Just stress. Yes. I see that now. Than master. Allow me to help you relax tonight as much you desire it." Shindo offered weakly.

Aku finally relaxed, "Yes... That sounds nice. Very well. I'll accept your kindness." He had a smug look on his face.

"Ugh... looks like it's going to be another one of those nights." Shindo thinks groaning internally.

"Alright. Than. I'll take my leave than. Come to my room around ten pm my priest." Aku looks at Shindo longingly as he heads up to the his office.

"Let's just get this day and week over with." Shindo tells the others, who reluctantly agree...
