Mastermind Kokichi Pt 2

(Third person POV)

Once inside the gym Kokichi tried his best to interject anything he could when he felt like it as the students talked among themselves. Nothing out of the ordinary or enlighten that get him on their radar though.

What pissed Kokichi off was Shuichi getting close to that blonde girl in a pink vest. A dark emotion threatened to swallow Kokichi whole, yet he has long stopped listening to his heart and shoved it away.

"I can only listen to my talent if I truly desire the world. Not my mind that over thinks things and definitely not my bleeding heart that wants to destroy everything. I will be what I was meant to be. A leader in every right and sense." Kokichi thinks humming again to himself.

It's kinda strange for him to be this intuned with his talent. It's like every move he made was calculated. The way he walks, the words he speaks, the gestures he uses are all strategically calculated by his talent. No thinking behind his words and no emotion.

He was merely trying to mirror what his twin does. To go with the flow and let the whims of fate decide his fate. In a strange way it was all very exciting. He has no idea what he'll say or do next. He is an enigma even to himself and he was loving it.

Finally it came time for everyone to part ways to explore the area. Kokichi sneaks up on Saihara Chan letting his finger slowly caress down the back of his spine while calling out his name.

Shuichi yelped in response turning to face him with a redden face and shivering body and Kokichi held back a chuckle as he merely bowed to him.

"Apologies. Didn't mean to startle you again. I merely wanted to ask if you'd like to come with me to search for clues, but from the looks of it... Seems you've decided to go with someone else. So I'll just politely take my leave than." Kokichi slowly straightened up and starts heading out.

"Oh! You can join us if you want! I don't mind!" Kaede explains.

Kokichi paused slowly turning toward her to address her, "Are you sure? I'm not interrupting anything?" He hummed softly.

"Huh?" Kaede looks confused, "No! Of course not!" She explains.

"Than I'd be happy to join you both." Kokichi bowed with grace.

"Great! Follow me! We're going to check the warehouse first!" Kaede explains and Kokichi simply nodded.

Shuichi kept stealing glances at Kokichi who looks over at him and flashes a smile making him hide his face in the military hat.

Kokichi boredly took out his monopad looking at it and sighed as he puts it away check the shelves for paper and pen.

"Ah! There we go!" Kokichi takes some paper and pen and than begins counting the wares and writing where they are.

"Alright I think I'm done here... what about you?" Kaede asked Shuichi.

"Yeah I don't see anything of note... Kokichi? Er... Kokichi???" Shuichi looked at Kokichi confused.

"Just writing down a list with the quantity of every item in here for future reference. What if something goes missing? What if it becomes part of a murder. You know..." Kokichi hummed.

"Ah... I didn't think of that! That's a good idea!" Kaede nodded, "But... There's not going to be any killings!" She explains.

"Hmmm if you say so. I am ever the skeptic." Kokichi hummed.

"Well guess we'll leave you to it. Come on Shuichi!" Kaede gushed.

Shuichi looks at Kokichi feeling torn, "I'll be here for awhile. You'd have more luck going with her." Kokichi explains.
