Pregame Twins PT3 (First Arc Finale)

(Interrogation of the Twins)

Shindo was taken out of his cell to be put into the interrogation room. He was forced to sit down as Kasaru and his nephew Shuichi came into the room. Shuichi got to sit down across from him.

"Hello Shindo Oma. My name is Detective Kasaru Saihara. I'm here with Officer Ren today and my nephew Shuichi Saihara. We are here to ask you questions regarding the crime that is committed. You are obliged to have a lawyer present if you deem necessary and if you can't afford one, we can present you one." Kasaru explained.

"Hmmm." Shindo considers this, "I guess I'll take a lawyer. If you'll allow me to make a few calls. I can get that arranged." Shindo sighed.

"Alright Officer Ren please escort them out of the room to make their calls. We will wait for the lawyer to come and join us, before beginning." Kasaru explained.

-time skip-

Shindo and everyone is sitting down as Piper comes in and takes a seat, "Hello. I'm Piper. And I'll be acting as Mr. Oma's lawyer." Piper explained.

"Very good. Than let's begin. Just so you know this is conversation is being recorded and can and will be used in court." Kasaru explained.

"Okay." Shindo sighed.

"Alright. Let's get started." Kasaru begins the recording, "Subject name Shindo Oma. Being accused of voluntary manslaughter of biological mother. Age 16. Gender male. Called police and didn't resist arrest and pleads guilty to the crime. Is this information so far true Mr. Oma?" Kasaru asked.

"Yes sir." Shindo asked.

"I have a question! Was your twin brother in away way involved in the crime?" Shuichi blurted.

"No." Shindo explains.

"Can you explain what your twin was doing durning the crime?" Kasaru asked.

"I object such information can be used against my client." Piper explained.

"I rather them not try to pin this crime on my brother, who had nothing to do with it. I will answer." Shindo explains.

"Fine. Abstaining than." Piper sighed.

"Mother at the time I had left the house had passed out from drinking. Brother let me go clear my mind and just breathe to take a break while she was sleeping. I'm usually always alone with mother taking the full extension of her abuse, while my brother wonders off to hang with his friends after school." Shindo sighed.

"How long has this abuse been happening?" Kasaru asked.

"Four years. Since we received the news about father dying serving in his police duties." Shindo explains.

"What's the worse injury and abuse you and your twin suffered from your mother?" Kasaru asked.

"My brother was burnt with cigarettes she'd smother out on his skin. The worse abuse for him was being whipped with a belt and locked into his room without food. Luckily he's very good at sneaking out of our room." Shindo sighed.

"As for me... The worse abuse... I think the most hurtful thing was her constantly screaming accusing me of everything. It really hurt even more than being locked up in my room without food, because we knew how to get out of that and sneak food... The worse physical pain... It varies... From bottles slammed against my body and breaking or them thrown into me to having my face slammed against the wall while she belted me." Shindo explains calmly.

"Did she ever burn you with cigarettes too?" Shuichi asked.

"Yeah... she'd try, but I'm good at keeping my distance and not letting her grab me. I was almost able to keep her calm, but not always..." Shindo sighed.
