Partners Against Crime 1

           (Shuichi)

The room was dark until his uncle pulled the blinds and let out a heavy sigh. Shuichi stirred in his futon and rubbed his eyes trying to focus as his hair looked like a mess.

"Get up! Get dressed! You're going on another field case!" Kasaru rudely threw Shuichi's clothes in his face.

"I thought we agreed I wouldn't be taking any field cases... you know after last time..." Shuichi groaned shivering at the memory of the angry man glaring at him with those eyes.

Shuichi shivered violently again and prayed to the gods he could burn the memory from his mind somehow.

"This is serious and different... Kirigiri has gone missing." Kasaru answered and Shuichi immediately flung his blankets off him and grabbed his clothes to dash into the bathroom, "Details! Now!" Shuichi's heart was beating like crazy as he started haphazardly dressing and it too him a few times to get his brain to work properly to put everything on correctly.

"You'll get the details when we get to the agency. Gotta meet up with your partner." Kasaru explains.

Shuichi popped out of the bathroom pulling his hat over his head, "Partner?!?" He asked in confusion.

             (Kokichi)

The agents were staring at him and he honestly didn't care. He kinda liked the attention. Some with suspicion on who he was and others none the wiser. He just needed to talk to the big dog. He skipped the receptionist as he already knew where the office was and acted like he owned the place. Yet, they acted none the wiser or even tried to stop him.

Hell if he was a true bad person they'd all be done for... good thing he's not exactly a bad guy, but not really a good guy either. He stepped into the elevator and looked at himself and couldn't help, but admire his hot topic white pants.

"God I'm killing it today! Yeah! I am really feeling the confidence!" He thinks chuckling at himself making a few faces in the reflection of the elevator's shiny walls.

He just felt like a real hot bitch right now!

After all how can he not?!?

He has some seriously useful information on Kirigiri and her previous case, because he saw someone kidnapped her. In fact his team was already following the team. He knew Kirigiri would be fine. She's a tough detective and he knows personally she's not afraid to get her hands dirty, but there's always that chance the bad guy will hurt her... He can't let no bad guys go grabbing his favorite detective that was chasing him for a time. That be soooooo boring.

Maybe he can get her back on his case after saving her life! That be amazing! He was desperately needing the change of pace from these mindless petty crimes. He needed more big bold heists to satisfy his big brain. Plus, he hated to admit it. He get's kinda lonely even with his amazing gang... He had no social life outside of them, so it's to be expected that he should crave something more....

Honestly he would be happy if even the adults were sent after him at this point, but he wasn't sure them old timers could keep up with him and his groups shenanigans. Either way he's a bloody opportunistic and Kyoko getting kidnapped created an amazing opportunity for his group to finally rise up from petty crime to something real and more, but more importantly legal and profitable.

"Today is the best day of my life!" Kokichi mentally decided and kicked open the doors to Jin Kirigiri's office.

"Security!" Jin sighed.

"I saw Kyoko get kidnapped!" Kokichi shouted and everyone froze and he relaxed.

"What?!? That has to be lie!" Jin explains.
