Mastermind Kokichi Pt 1

           (Kokichi's POV)

"Don't worry. I won't let them hurt you. I'll think of something." My older twin strokes my hair while holding me, but I could feel him shaking with fear.

I really fcked up. I can't believe I let my organizations mortal enemy snatch me. I know they won't kill me, because of my talent, but if I'm honest I rather they did.

"Should I kill you now... to keep you way from them? I don't know. I just don't know..." my twin was indecisive and shaking and yet I couldn't feel safer in his arms.

Reminds me of the better days when he slapped my bully across the face for punching me in elementary. For a meek and timid boy, he's always randomly had these moments where he had the craziest back bone I've ever seen.

He never yelled and if he did it was usually something that really deeply upset him and he just couldn't control his emotions anymore. Unlike me who has total mastery of my emotions my twin just couldn't do it. He would emotionally break down and his logical would be blinded by rage and fear. I doubt he's even thinking properly right now anyways.

"Brother... Your cult... it's hunting my friends down.. right?" I asked him.

"Yes brother." Shindo suddenly relaxed to look at me and play with my hair.

"Why?" I asked.

"Simply put... Master Aku fears those with talent... they are a threat to his success and humanity. He built this cult as his fortuitous and he's created us to be his army and shields." Shindo hummed and yet I could feel his restless anxiety stirring deeply in his heart with the sound of every pounding of his heart.

"What is his goal?" I asked listening closely to my twin.

"To take over the world with his status and power that he has built up." Shindo explains.

"And... if he dies you'll be in charge?" I looked at my twin calmly.

"Yes. I will take his place and rule over the church and the cult and lead us to a bright future." Shindo nodded.

"Unless I take your place." I hummed and Shindo took a moment to assess me for a second.

I met his purple eyes with matching mischievous eyes of my own, "What if I told you... I have to become the ruler of this world.... Would you let me take my right place and throne?" I asked smiling.

Shindo considers this as he plays with my hair, "I see... And yet... I don't understand it... hmm... perhaps we are but children cursed by father's leadership talent.... Than as your family. I will step aside and assist you however you desire. I'm happy to just follow you." Shindo softly smiled at me.

I hugged him feeling excited and a bit giddy, "Than I need you to do something for me." I whispered in his ear.

"Yes... whatever it is. I will do it." Shindo swore.

"Kill your master for me and anyone who dares trying taking over our church." I begged.

Shindo closed his eyes and laughed as he opens his eyes that look blood red now and I looked at those ruby crimson eyes with admiration.

"I won't fail you brother! You can count on me! I will be your blade!" Shindo swore and snuggled him feeling so much joy.

"I couldn't of asked for a better twin!" I gushed feeling so excited.
