Outsiders PT1

(Rantaro x Shindo)

Rantaro was watching as his classmates were talking without him again. He wasn't interesting enough to keep their attention on him for long. Because of this he hardly knew any of them and they didn't know him.

He didn't know how to join their group without acting fake. So he just didn't. Most of his friends are now people outside his class that he's helped in someway. Though even they knew very little about him as well.

After school Rantaro decided to wonder around town for a bit aimlessly. He stops when he sees Kokichi about to walk across the street and decides to talk to him.

It's rare for him to catch the others outside of school especially if it's Kokichi, though something was off. He wasn't in his normal white clothes and his hair looked more black than purple. He seemed to be wearing a black school uniform carrying a shoulder bag. He had headphones in that were plays I am Outsider by Three Days Grace on a black old style mp3 player.

Rantaro gently tapped his shoulder and he takes out his earbuds to look at him, "I didn't know you liked Three Day Grace. I'm like their biggest fan. I can get you tickets if you want. I usually waist mine not wanting to go alone." Rantaro admits shyly.

The boy looked at him confused, but calmly, "I'm sorry... do I know you?" He asked shyly.

Rantaro blinked confused it didn't sound like a lie, "Come Kokichi. Don't be like that. It's me. Rantaro." Rantaro explains.

"Oh. Uh..." he looks away shyly, "Kokichi's my twin brother... I'm Shindo." He explains shyly.

Rantaro frowned not sure if this was an elaborate prank or not, "Uh... I guess that's hard to believe. Here's my student ID." The boy hands over his card.

"Azuka High School... you mean your not a student at Hope's Peak Academy?" Rantaro knew Kokichi's handbook says he's from Imperial High School.

"What me? Go to Hope's Peak Academy? I wish. I don't have a talent..." Shindo softly explained as Rantaro hands him back the card.

"Huh..." Rantaro stared at the boy in shock and the more he was looking he could see he's wearing non color contacts and his voice is softer that Kokichi's voice is.

(Shindo is far sighted. He wears glasses or prescription contacts to see things near him.)

"Uh... can I still have the tickets though? I really want to go." Shindo explains shyly.

"I mean... sure why not." Rantaro felt embarrassed.

"Will you be joining me?" He asked.

"I probably won't." Rantaro admits.

"Please don't leave me alone in a crowd of strangers..." Shindo cutely grabs his sleeve.

"Alright. I'll go to the concert with you." Rantaro tried not to blush as this boy is absolutely adorable just like his mischievous twin and he'll have to keep his guard up.

"My name is Shindo. It's nice to meet you. If you want you can call me Shio." Shindo smiled warmly letting Rantaro's sleeve go.

"Rantaro. You can call me whatever you feel like." Rantaro explains.

"Hmm... Ranran." Shindo replied.
