Context: This human AU is a Good Omens X Breakfast With Scot fic. I'm mainly doing this for myself because I love Eric's speech towards the end of the movie. It's basically word for word around the end of this fic. As for the plot, it's similar enough to the movie's but there'll be several differences, including less sports-talk and it'll be more focused on the husbands than the movie was, because that's my default when it comes to GO fics. Also: I encourage you to watch the movie if you haven't already, because it's very cute.

(As another side note: even though they live in England in this AU, school semesters function like they're set up in Puerto Rico, because I did not do any research about the UK. So a school year in this story is from August to May, with a small break in late December and summer vacation being from June to July. Suspend your disbelief if necessary.

Towards the end of the fic there's also a mini comic that I commissioned, from the lovely 'catofapocalypse' on Ko-fi. Go support them if you can and follow them on all their socials!)

Anthony J. Crowley and Aziraphale Z. Fell have a very specific way of life. They've been this way for 6 years, and they hadn't planned on changing it any time soon. Especially Crowley, who hated change with a passion. Unfortunately for him, that specific way of life changes rather quickly when they're suddenly forced to take care of Aziraphale's nephew, Adam Young.

The alarm went off, 4:30 AM. As he did every morning, Anthony J. Crowley cursed and groaned before shutting it off. Even though he liked his job, he hated waking up early. He loved to sleep. But, unlike most days, today was a Friday and it was also May 10th. So, instead of immediately getting out of bed with the alarm, like he usually would, he turned back towards his husband.

"Happy anniversary, angel." Said the redhead sleepily, nudging his way into the back of Aziraphale's neck.

His breath and kisses tickled him wide awake. "Good morning, darling." Said Aziraphale as he turned around, the smile clear on his voice.

Crowley carded his hand through Aziraphale's golden curls. "Sorry I couldn't get out of work today. But I promise dinner will be good enough to make up for waking up so early on your day off."

A soft chuckle left Aziraphale's lips. "Dearest, it's fine. After 6 years of marriage, I'm used to waking up before dawn." Said the blond, taking Crowley's hand and kissing the palm.

"So, what are you in the mood for?"

"Do you mean for dinner tonight or right now? Because the moonlight is making you look particularly scrumptious..." Said the chubby man, inching closer.

Crowley smirked, feeling Aziraphale's leg finding its way in between both of his. "Bastard. You're gonna make me late for work."

"You love it." Retorted Aziraphale, giving him a soft peck on the lips, teasing.

And there went what little self control Crowley had when it came to his husband. "Screw it, I've been late for work before." Said the skinny redhead before taking his husband in his mouth.

~~~~~
Crowley was a football analyst for the local sports channel. This meant his days were filled with dozens of segments. Some were easy to get through. Natural, nothing to it, just him and his fellow panelist going over the latest game. Other times, there were scripted segments for entertainment, interviews and filming for commercials, which took far longer than he liked.
Hence why he would always go into work early. Luckily, Crowley's tardiness today wasn't as bad as he expected. This was a very good thing, since he needed to spend some extra time in the cosmetics chair today.
