Relaying the Details

When morning came around I was awoken by a knock on the door. "Touya?" I heard the door open and looked over to see Natsuo entering the room. "Oh, cool, you're awake. Mom sent me to come get you for breakfast."
I slowly sat up and rubbed at my eyes, "I'll be down in a second." I replied, Natsuo nodding before leaving. After a few minutes of trying to force myself awake I pulled myself out of bed and went downstairs.
   "Goodmorning Touya, how'd you sleep?" Fuyumi asked as energetic as always.
   "G'morning. Slept fine." I replied, still half asleep as I sat down at the table.
   "Damn big bro, you look like shit." Natsuo said.
   "Your scars look a lot worse in person than they do on tv." Shoto added.
   It took me a second to realize what they were talking about. I looked down and noticed I got up without throwing a shirt on first. My bad. "Thanks for the confidence boost. It's the same as the rest of my body, ya didn't say shit yesterday."
"Didn't realize it was so bad yesterday." Natsuo replied.
"Do they hurt?" My mom asked.
I shook my head, "Not anymore, they're just other pieces of skin at the point. The staples suck to get though." I replied.
"How long are you staying Touya?" Shoto asked.
"I'll probably get ready after this, I wanna get back to Shigaraki and it's a 2 day walk."
"Why don't you just get Kurogiri to send you back?" Endeavor asked.
"I didn't think you'd be ok with it."
"You're more than welcome to use it to get here and go back, I'd rather you not walk and risk getting hurt or captured." Endeavor replied.
"I- Damn old man, wasn't expecting to hear that from you out of all people."
"I'm trying to be more open, I was serious when I said I was trying to be different." He said, his eyes genuine. I just nodded and looked away from him. Breakfast flew by fairly quickly, conversation started to pick up and after I helped clean up I went to get ready to leave.
   After my bag was packed I texted Toga to ask her to trace my location and have Kurogiri open a warp gate. When the text was sent I went downstairs and found my family waiting for me. One by one they came up and said goobye to me, the only one not to touch me being Endeavor. It makes me happy that he knows his place. A few seconds pass and a warp gate opened behind me. I waved goodbye as I walked through, more than ready to be able to hold Tenko in my arms again.

When I got back to base I saw Toga and Twice sitting on the couch. Toga ran over and wrapped her arms tightly around me the second she noticed me. "Welcome back Dabi! We missed you."
I laughed and placed a hand on top of her head, "I missed you too, crazy. Where's Tomura?"
   "He's in your room, has been since you left." Toga replied, letting go of me. I thanked her then went to my room, quietly opening the door to see Tenko fast asleep in my bed.
   I smiled as I sat my stuff down, walking over and sitting on the edge of the bed. I gently pushed his hair out of his face, resting my hand on his cheek as I leaned over to press a kiss to his temple. When I sat back up I saw his eyes slowly start to flutter open. "Touya?"
   I softly brushed his cheek with my thumb, "Yeah love, it's me.
   Tenko's face broke into a smile as he held his arms out, "I missed you."
   I layed down and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him as close to me as I could without hurting him. "I missed you too, how've you been?"
   "Tired, it really sucks when you're not around. I don't think that Hiroto and Hiroshi like it when you're away either." Tenko said while resting his head on my bicep.
"I'll do my best to not be gone as much, I don't like being away from you." I replied.
"How did everything go?" Tenko asked as he cupped my cheek.
"It wasn't awful. Endeavor called the commission and got them to consider our offer, he said regardless of the commission's answer he'd help us so that's a good thing, right?"
   "I guess it helps to have at least one hero at our disposal. I wasn't just talking about the mission though, I want to know how seeing your siblings and mom after all this time was." Tenko said.
   "What exactly do you want to know?" I asked.
   "Tell me everything you want to talk about, you seemed pretty happy about going back so I want to know what you did and if it was everything you hoped it would be."
   "Well, I almost left at first because my nerves were so bad, though I didn't have the heart to once my sister opened the door. She dragged me into the house and my brother practically tackled me to the ground. I was more nervous about Endeavor than anything else but he surprisingly didn't yell at me or anything, he just cried.
After that they sat me down at the table to investigate since you had called me. We talked about how I met you, what I did when I left home, just a bunch of shit like that. They asked a few questions about you and the twins. My mom told me to try and convince you to come over one day after the twins are born, though I don't know how much you'd wanna do that."
Tenko sat in silence for a second before looking me in the eyes, "I'd be open to giving them a chance. They're your family, you know? I want you to be able to have a relationship with them if that's what you want."
"I- I don't know what I want. The only thing that I really have planned for the future is staying with you and the twins. I'm not too sure if I see my family being an active part of that future." I replied, my thoughts slightly racing.
   Tenko slowly pulled my face towards his and pressed his lips to mine, "You don't have to make a decision right now, I can already tell you're trying to start figuring everything out. Take your time, make a decision when you're ready and feel confident in your choice. Don't stress yourself out over it." Tenko said before pulling me into another kiss.
"How are you so good at this? You always know how to calm me down."
Tenko laughed, "I just know you. Now, you should take a nap with me. I'm tired." Tenko said. I agreed and Tenko quickly nuzzled into me as he closed his eyes. I thought about my family one last time before looking down at Tenko. I closed my eyes and attempted to clear my head and hoped that I could fall asleep, at least for a while.
