Kept Promises

I practically sprinted over to Tenko and threw my arms around him. I heard Tenko start to cry into my shoulder, his breathing slightly jagged. I pulled away and put my hands on his cheeks. Tenko placed his hands on my wrists as I pulled him into a kiss, my entire body relaxing at the touch of Tenko's skin.
   "When they told me what happened I was so scared that you weren't going to make it back. Thank you for not breaking your promise." Tenko said, his crying getting heavier.
   I pulled him close to my chest, holding him as close as I could, "I told you that I'd come back. I always will."
Tenko pulled away enough to be able to trace the new scarring on my face, "So they've spread more, huh?"
"Yeah, I guess so? Am I still attractive?" I asked, making Tenko softly laugh.
"You're always attractive in my eyes. Even if one day you're all scarring you'd still be the most attractive man alive." Tenko said, wrapping his arms back around me.
"You flatter me too much." I replied, kissing the top of his head.
"Get a fucking room!" Toga yelled from the other couch.
Tenko and I laughed, "My room?" I asked. He nooded so I helped him up and walked with him to my room, lying down on my bed and embracing him the second we got under the covers.
   Tenko held onto me as if I was going to disappear or something if he let go. "Toga told me what you did to ma- All For One." Tenko said. "As happy as I am that he's gone I wish you didn't put your own life at risk, it was really stupid and reckless. She told me that you almost burned yourself to death."
   "I'm alive, aren't I? I'm pretty sure that's all that matters."
"Touya-"
"I know Tenko, I'm sorry. In that moment I was only really worried about making sure that he was actually going to die. I guess I kind of disregarded my life in order to make sure I succeeded." I responded, holding Tenko closer. "I just couldn't bare the idea of him surviving and coming after you, especially after all we did to make sure he'd die."
   Tenko was about to say something else but was interrupted by a knock on the door. Toga walked in seconds later, a wide smile on her face. "Both of you, get up and come with me."
   "What? Why? I'm comfortable." Tenko scoffed, hiding his face in my chest.
   Toga laughed and then pulled the blanket off of us. "Too bad, you can be comfortable later. This is important, come on."
After a little convincing Tenko finally got up and we followed Toga down the hall. We then found the rest of the league waiting in front of what was going to be Hiroto and Hiroshi's room. "We finally finished up the twins' room a few minutes ago and really want you guys to see it." Magne said.
"You'll love it! It looks awful!" Twice added.
Compress and Spinner came behind Tenko and I and covered our eyes before guiding us into the room. When they finally stopped walking the league counted down from 3 before Compress and Spinner removed their hands.
The walls were a light blue with a thin and a thick purple line going across the entirety of the room. There was a fairly decent sized black dresser on one of the walls and 2 changing table on the other. There were also multiple boxes of diapers stacked in the corner of the room along with toys scattered across the floor.
In the back of the room were 2 black cribs, one with light blue sheets and the other with dark purple sheets. Each crib also had a stuffed bear in it, one a dark brown and the other a lighter brown. Tenko finally moved after a while and walked over to one of the cribs, tracing the rims of it with his finger. He took hold of the crib and looked around the room, looking as if he was taking in every deatil.
   "Well? Do you like it Tomura?" Toga asked, her face slightly nervous.
I noticed tears brimming his eyes as he looked over at Toga, a soft smile on his face. "I do, I like it a lot. I can tell you guys put a lot of effort into putting it together. I really appreciate it, thank you."
Toga squealed before running over to Tenko's side and wrapping her arms around him. Twice quickly did the same to his other side. Tenko flinched and looked like he wanted to yell at them but just sighed, letting them cling to him.
"Wow Crusty, you're letting them hug you? You never do that. It's almost like you care about us." I teased him.
Tenko's face flushed, "S-Shut it. It'd make me an asshole if I shoved them away after they worked so hard to put this together."
"Does that mean you'll finally let me feel the babies kick?" Toga asked, her eyes sparkling as she looked up at Tenko.
   "Don't get ahead of yourself, I still have boundaries." Tenko said.
  "Aww but I wanna feel them move."
   "No way. You can hold them when they're born. I don't like people touching me, feel lucky I haven't shoved you off of me." Tenko replied.
"You let Dabi touch you. I'd let him touch me too!" Twice said.
Tenko's cheeks blushed, "That's different."
   "He lets me do a lot more than touch him." I replied, Tenko's face turning an even deeper red.
   "And with that I'm leaving. Thank you for putting all of this together but I'm done here now." Tenko said as he moved away from Twice and Toga and left the room.
I laughed as I followed him out of the room, finding him already buried under the covers of my bed. "Tenko~"
   "Don't even start, asshole." Tenko mumbled as I walked over to him.
"You know you love me, you can't stay mad." I said, lying down next to him and putting one of my arms on top of him.
Tenko grabbed my arm and pulled me closer, placing my hand on top of his and onto his abdomen, "I hate that I can't stay mad at you, idiot." Tenko replied, his voice drowsy.
   "I love you." I said, leaning my forehead against the back of Tenko's head. I didn't get a response, instead hearing the soft breaths that I've come to learn indicate that he's fallen asleep. I smiled as I held Tenko close, closing my eyes as I slowly started to drift off myself.
