Things Are Not As They Seem

Chapter 25

Tori's POV

A week past since Trina fainted and I always visited her to check on how she was doing, I already skipped school last week so I can't do it again this week, I had to just stop being a victim and go to school.

Today I went to pick Trina up from the hospital. I had already paid the doctors when I had taken her there after she fainted so now I just need to sign her out.

"She seems to be OK, she hasn't fainted since the first time you brought her here, I think it was a one time thing, but it is best she stays home for a few days to rest." The doctor said

"OK, thank you." I replied "come on trina, lets go."

"Hey Tori?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for taking care of me, I wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for you." She said

"I had to, your my sister and I wouldn't live with myself if I didn't do anything about it." I hugged her before we both entered the car.

Even though I went to school, I never saw my friends because I avoided them, and I don't think they noticed. I'd never eat my lunch at school and I'd always sit in the back in class.

The break up got me quick, it came in a flash, I didn't see it coming, it just happened, just like that. One second we were happy, and the next he was back with Jade.

What even made things worse was the fact that Trina got hurt and so I have not been in any mood to deal with my friends, to face them and have them confront me about something I didn't even do. I wasn't ready for that.

We reached home and once I got out I heard Trina gasp.

"Tori, what happened while I was in the hospital" she asked

I noticed she was looking at my bruises and scars, they have not healed yet.

"Oh long story short, I almost burned down the house and ofc she mom had to beat me for that, I don't even blame her now." I said

"Sorry." She said

"Its fine they are healing anyway."

I was in my bed looking at pictures of not only me and Beck, but me and my friends too. Life used to be so easy, it was perfect, everything was perfect, except one thing, I didn't have Beck. I thought if I had him everything would be complete, but I did, now look where I am??

If we never dated it would never have looked like I was cheating and I wouldn't be in this mess rn. I can't even face my friends bc idk what they will say. Cat is obviously not my friend neither is Jade, Beck hates me, so the only people I have left are Robbie and Andre, but what if they hate me two??? They probably heard what happened by now.

"Tori! Beck is here! He wants to see you" She yelled

Why is he here? Why'd he want to see me. I have baggy eyes but i don't even care right now, at least he will see what he has done to me.

"What do you want?" I said entering the living room when I saw him.

"I want to talk" he said

"About what? You wanna make me feel horrible by confronting me for cheating on you? Or do you wanna tell me how happy you and Jade are happy together??? Because I don't need that right now." I said fighting my tears.

"Tori, am sorry, I know you didn't cheat" he said

"Huh?" I said just incase i wasnt hearing him right.

"Jade paid Cat's brother to kiss you, guess Cat is never gonna stop helping her. She didn't wanna get back together with me, she just wanted to get back at you for getting her and Cat exposed for framing you, she is satisfied knowing you were broken for a whole week and doesn't care if you are happy again or not, she wanted you to know she is not to be messed with"

"Wow" am so shocked, she really takes revenge seriously... Respect!

"Yeah, am so sorry I went to her without letting you explain yourself, I was just hurt at the moment." I apologized

"Oh so are you back bc you want me back or bc Jade doesn't care and I am your back up?" I asked

"I only got with Jade to get back at you bc I thought you cheated" he explained

"So you used her to get back at me? Beck this is why I was scared to date in the first place, girls aren't tools and you using them makes me think you might use me too. Sure she was using you too, but she is Jade." I said

"I know, it was wrong of me to do that, but I promise I won't do it to you"

"So you does this mean you want to get back together?"

"Am not sure, not yet, I... Realized I still have feelings for Jade." Those words really broke me, but am glad he was honest with me
