"What do you want to wear, Tilly? This dress or this dress?" Mommy asked while showing me a mint green dress with daisy print on it and a purple dress with a sunflower print.

I like both dresses. They're new too. Binili ito sa akin ni mommy noong minsang umuwi siya sa Manila para bisitahin ang aking grandparents.

"I like the mint one, mommy."

"Alright,"

Nilapag ni mommy sa kama ko ang purple dress tapos lumapit na ako sa kanya para masuot ang mint dress.

Katatapos ko lang maligo at magaayos na lang para magmukhang presentable tulad ng sinabi ni mommy dahil nga may importanteng bisita kaming darating.

"Mommy..."

"Hmm?"

"Sino po iyong important guest na sinasabi mo? Do I really need to look pretty for them?"

Mommy finished combing my hair. She parted my jet black natural mermaid curls hair in the middle and put pretty pins on both sides.

"Yes, madam." Tinusok ni mommy ang tagiliran ko. Medyo nakiliti ako kaya tumawa.

"But daddy said, every guest is an important visitor. So are they super duper mega important guest, mom?"

Mommy chuckled. "Yes, Tilly. They're special because they're our my best friends."

I tilted my head, waiting for my mom to tell me more.

"I don't know if you can still remember your tita Hermione. She's your ninang and my college friend. Nagpunta sila dito ng family niya noong christening mo. Hindi na nga lang nasundan ang pagbisita nila dahil naging busy sa negosyo."

"They have negosyo, too?"

"Yes, princess. They have a massive 5-star hotel & resort in Manila. You'll love it there."

"May dagat din sila doon, mom?"

Umiling si mommy. "Wala, but you can see the Manila bay from there and they have a lagoon-style pool."

"But we have our own outdoor pool too and a sun terrace with overlooking view of the ocean. I bet ours is more prettier."

Biglang natawa si mommy. Nagtaka naman ako dahil hindi ko alam kung anong nakatatawa sa sinabi ko.

"Wala talagang makapagbabago ng isip mo, ano?"

I tiled my head because of confusion. Hinaplos naman ni mommy ang buhok ko.

"You'll meet them again later so behave, okay?" Mommy smiled at me.

I smiled too. "Okay, mommy."

"Ma'am Leila?"

Sabay kaming napalingon ni mommy sa bukas na pinto ng kwarto ko dahil sumungaw dito si yaya Gina. Kumatok parin siya kahit bukas naman ang pinto.

"Sabi ni sir Timothy punta na daw po kayo ni Tilly sa resort kasi dumating na raw po ang bisita ninyo."

"Ah. Okay...Let's go, Tilly." Hinawakan ni mommy ang kamay ko tapos tumayo galing sa pagkakaupo sa aking kama.

"Ang ganda naman ng Tilly namin." Yaya Gina complimented me as we walk pass by her.

"Thank you, yaya." I gave our more than eight years house helper a big warm smile.
