"Nasa parking na raw si Hez." Tita Hermoine announced.
We're at Balay Dako kung saan kami maglalunch at magtatry ng famous Bulalo. Nag order na ng food si tita, hinihintay nalang namin si Hezekiah.
And the moment our foods arrived, Hez also appeared. Our eyes immediately met after he greeted his mother.
Binaba ko naman ang aking tingin at nagfocus nalang sa mga pagkaing nilalapag sa table.
And it's a lot of food for the three of us. May special bulalo, sizzling bulalo na baka, spring duck with pineapple sambal, deep-fried prawns served with a salted egg sauce, bangus shrimp lumpia, crispy pata and lastly the mixed seafood paella.
"If we can't finish this all, puwede naman nating itake out. Our yayas can eat it too if they want or we can just heat this all up and have this for dinner naman." Turan ni tita Hermoine na tila nabasa ang nasa isip ko.
"Gusto ko lang matikman mo lahat." She added while smiling at me.
Tumango naman ako habang nakangiti rin sa kanya.
"Oh, your mommy is calling..." Tita Hermoine said as she looked at her phone. My mom is video calling her.
"Hi, Her." Bati ni mommy.
"Hi, Lei. Kumusta?" Turan ni tita Hermoine tapos pakita sa akin sa camera.
"We're good...Hi, princess. Are you having fun with tita Her?"
"Yes po. We tried horseback riding earlier." Sagot ko naman.
"Wow, really? Akala ko puro sa shopping mall ka lang dadalhin ng best friend ko eh."
"Uy, hindi naman. Baka bukas kapag nasa Maynila na ulit kami." Usal ni tita Hermoine.
Nagtawan kami dahil doon, maliban kay Hezekiah na tahimik lang sa kanyang upuan.
I'm sitting beside tita Hermoine while Hez is sitting on the chair in front of his mom.
"Where's dad, my?" I asked.
"Ah nasa labas may kausap lang na guest. We're going to have lunch na rin pagkatapos niya."
Tumango ako kay mommy.
"I took a lot of photos and videos of Tilly while she's riding the horse. I'll send it to you later, Lei." Singit ni tita Hermoine.
"Sige, sige! Send it to me." Excited namang tugon ni mommy.
Maya maya din ay nagpaalam na kami kay mommy dahil sila rin ay kailangan nang mananghalian.
Me and Hezekiah started eating, but tita Hermoine is still busy with her phone, sinesend na sa kay mommy ang mga pictures at video ko sa kabayo.
"Ma, stop that. Kumain ka muna." Utos ni Hezekiah sa kanyang ina.
"Sorry, son. I'll eat na. Ang ganda lang kasi sobra ni Tilly sa mga kuha ko sa kanya..."
Nakaramdam kaagad ako ng init sa mukha dahil sa huling sinabi ni tita Hermoine.
I took a glance of Hezekiah. He's just looking at his mom when he suddenly raised his hand like he's asking for something.
"Let me see..."
Halos masamid ako nang marinig iyon. He's asking for his mom's phone so what he wants to see is my photos.
