23 - Troublesome

When we went to check on Lucy in the infirmary, as expected, everyone was furious at Raven's foul play, especially Natsu.

"That girl obviously cheated! Why didn't anyone call her out?!" Natsu yelled in frustration.

"Even if everyone else notices, if the referee doesn't, then it wouldn't count as cheating. That's the rules," I explained, "I know it's stupid, but that's just how it is."

"She had her magic wiped out, assumingly by the same one that did this to Wendy and Carla," Ms. Porlyusica informed, making Natsu clench his fist harder. We all can understand his frustration; what happened to Lucy was nowhere near fair since she was clearly supposed to win that fight and show everyone what Fairy Tail is made of, and yet...

"Come on, we should let her rest," Erza said and we all left the room.

"Aside from wiping her magic, threatening Asuka was super dirty!" the Salamander growled, "If no one noticed, she totally would've hurt Asuka!"

"At least now we know that's how they plan to play. We can take caution the next time we're against them. We'll keep an eye on Asuka over here too, so don't worry," I stated before returning to the sidelines, "She's suffering from magic deficiency, but she'll be okay with some rest."

At the moment, it was a battle between Blue Pegasus and Mermaid Heel, and it seems like Pegasus has the upper hand.

"By the way, who's the person in the bunny suit?" Lisanna asked and pointed over at Pegasus's stand.

"I'm not sure. I've never seen that person before... Is that even a person?" I questioned, equally as confused, "And I don't think I'm the one you should be asking about people's identities... I barely know everyone's names in our own guild, never mind other guilds..." The battle soon ended with Pegasus's victory, and the next round was about to start: that annoying lightning mage from Saber versus the guy that uses tear magic from Cerberus.

"You alright? Your face was really scary just now," Levy said.

"Ah... I don't really like that guy," I answered.

"Saber or Cerberus?"

"Saber... We have some bad history..." I sighed and turned my attention back to the arena. Before the Cerberus member could even charge up his magic, the lightning mage defeated him in one shot, ending the battle in less than a minute.

"O-One shot....." Happy exclaimed, while Lily covered his ears cutely.

"I didn't know Lily was afraid of thunder," I smiled and patted the cat gently.

"I-It's not that.... I-It's just too loud," the cat denied, which only made me chuckle some more.

"More than that, what kind of magic does that Saber member use?" Freed asked.

"Lightning God Slayer magic. I don't know much about it, but I assume it's similar to Dragon Slaying magic," I said, "Well, although I didn't expect Cerberus to win, he should've let the guy showcase his magic more. Lame~"

"Hey, Orga! Couldn't you have made this a bit more interesting?!" Sting complained as the lightning mage was returning to the stand.

"Then I'll sing a song!" Orga declared and called for a microphone.

"Wait- No! That's not what I meant! Don't!" Sting tried protesting, but it was too late. I nervously smiled and covered my ears. Before anyone could grasp the situation they're in, he already started singing his signature song, leaving the guilds and audience dumbfounded.
