Once our guild returned to Magnolia, we were greeted with loud cheers and heartfelt congratulations from the town as well as people from neighboring towns. For the first time in who knows how long, Fairy Tail was able to walk confidently down town, and who knew this would end up feeling so good. As people cheered for their favorite members, reminiscing about their favorite battles during the games, the mayor approached us.
"As a token of appreciation for your guild's hard work and also to congratulate you for your amazing victory, our town has restored your guildhall, the pride of our city! Please continue to protect our town! Welcome home, Fairy Tail!" the mayor announced as our old, huge castle-guildhall stood tall in its original spot.
"Oh, Mr. Mayor! I can't thank you enough!" our master cried as we entered our grand guildhall. They really did a good job restoring this place; it seems even more luxurious than I remembered. After taking a good look at our guildhall, I went home for a nice bath before rejoining the others at our castle.
"Rat, come here," Laxus motioned for me over by the bar, "Do you have what I told you to find?"
"The magic stone? It's in some forest called 'Las Puertas del Inferno'," I answered, perfecting the pronunciation of the Spanish word. After everything that happened, I almost forgot about the whole Team A versus Team B competition within our guild. Besides, didn't Team B end up having more points than Team A anyways?
"Go and draw a map to the place, and make it as shitty as possible," he ordered.
"Sadistic much? Where are the Team A members anyways?" I asked.
"All of the Team A members left on a job a while ago, so we'll deal with the Team A versus B thing tomorrow," grandpa decided, "As for now, make me something to drink. I heard you're pretty good at bartending."
"Not just pretty good, she's a legend! Make me something too!" Cana cheered and joined us by the bar.
"How about a Zombie cocktail?" I suggested.
"Sure, I'll take that!" Cana laughed and chugged down the bottle already in her hand.
"I'll take a Negroni," grandpa ordered.
"Give me a Death in the Afternoon," Laxus added. I noted down their orders and began pulling out all of the necessary ingredients. Whoever restored our guildhall was gracious enough to give us some nice, high quality alcohol with it. First off, Cana's Zombie cocktail. Add some Jamaican rum, gold Puerto Rican rum, and Lemon Hart Demerara rum into a blender. Continue by adding some freshly-squeezed lime juice, white grapefruit juice, and cinnamon syrup into the mixture. Add some Grenadine, Falernum, Pernod Absinthe, Angostura Bitters, and a mint into the blender. Add some ice into the blender and blend until frothy before serving in a tall iced cup with a mint sprig as garnish.
"For you, M'Lady, a Zombie cocktail," I slid the cup over to Cana and waited in anticipation as she took a sip.
"Delicious as always, hottie! As expected!" she cheered, making me sigh in relief. Grandpa and Laxus each took a sip and couldn't deny its exquisite taste. After quickly wiping down the bar surface, I moved onto making grandpa's Negroni, which was a simpler recipe. For this drink, add gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth into an iced mixing glass, and stir until the mixture is well chilled. Once cold, strain the drink into a rocks glass filled with large ice cubes and garnish with an orange peel.
"One Negroni for the master," I served the drink, earning a satisfied response upon the first sip. I finally moved onto the final drink, and I sure hope my brother is looking forward to his Death in the Afternoon. After pouring some absinthe into a coupe glass, I slowly added in the champagne, careful to keep the pretty green color of the drink.
