25 - Tired and Fed Up

The first ten minutes of us arriving at the waterpark was already a disaster. It was as anyone would expect, us Dreyar siblings had lots to insult each other on and it won't stop anytime soon.

"Oh, my rolls of fat? What about your beer belly huh? Don't you think you're sporting that dad-bod a bit too soon?" I smirked.

"Kids! Can you guys not argue for just a second? One second, that's all I'm asking for," grandpa sighed.

"You two get along well," Mavis giggled, making Laxus and I glare at each other even more.

"In what ways?"

"Are you blind?"

"I said BE RESPECTFUL YOU STUPID BRATS!" grandpa yelled.

"I'ma go get some drinks," I sighed and left for the food stand and bar. Along the way, I ran into Jenny from Blue Pegasus and the gravity mage from Mermaid Heel.

"Oh, you Fairies are here too?" Mermaid's gravity mage asked.

"Yeah. Are the rest of your guilds here, too?" I responded.

"All of Pegasus is here. Only some of us Mermaids came though," she laughed, "I was surprised to see you not participating this year, Levina. I was so sure you were gonna join."

"We have better and stronger members, so I'm sitting out this year," I said. What was her name again...? Riley? Leslie?

"Oh, Levina, you're here too? I thought you left with Laxus and Master earlier?" Lucy asked as she and Erza approached us.

"The First Master wanted to come since everyone else is here," I explained.

"I see. More than anything, what are you two doing?" the celestial mage questioned while giving her two spirits an annoyed glance as they chilled in the pool.

"What? Gotta problem with us taking a break?!" Aquarius growled and splashed Lucy away with a strong wave. I chuckled at the ridiculous sight and returned to where the First Master and the others were. On the way, I thought I saw Evergreen and Elfman hiding behind a rock in the pool, so I decided to get to higher grounds for a better view.

"Oh, you're here too?" Bickslow asked as I joined him and Freed on the second floor.

"Yeah, Laxus is down there if you're looking for him," I pointed over to where the others were, and Freed's eyes lit up at the sight of the older lightning mage. So the three of us headed down to where they were and the two Thunder Legion members joined them in their stretching routine.

"Not gonna join us?" Bickslow asked.

"Nah, I don't plan on getting in the water, so I'm good," I said and laid back comfortably on the beach chair, classily sipping my tropical drink.

We continued to sit there and watch Mavis swim with her cute kickboard, Laxus occasionally waving to her like a parent to cheer her on.

"I feel so cold all of a sudden...." the First Master shivered so I handed over a towel, but froze when I saw the bright light from the waterslide. I nervously tapped Laxus and pointed over to where all the commotion was and he stared in disbelief. And just like that, the entire waterpark froze and blew up, leaving a Natsu standing there, triumphantly cackling. We could only sigh and facepalm at the situation as both the current and First Master broke down sobbing at the potential damage fees. I felt Laxus drop his coat on my shoulder before going to collect the troublemakers.

"I'm gonna slip outta here before things get worse..." I mumbled and snuck out of the emergency exit after changing back into my regular clothes. Now what will I do...? It's still a bit too early to sleep, so I ended up just wandering around Crocus for a while and unconsciously found myself in front of the Crocus Garden.
