My head slowly became clearer as my vision returned to me. Everything around me was dark and dusty. It was loud; people's screams and cries, the sound of magic being casted and explosions filled the air, it was more than obvious that we were on a battlefield. By my side, the Thunder Legion and Mr. Yajima still lay unconscious, but the most mortally wounded of them all, Laxus, was nowhere to be found.

"Did you find him yet?" Ms. Porlyusica asked, but the man shook his head. So he's thinking the same thing as me- find the demon that attacked us and force it to give us an antidote for the others; since its body was the source of the poison, I'm sure its body will have the cure as well- most likely its blood. I want to go help, but I know my body is in no condition to do so. If only there's a way for me to temporarily regain some strength. If I leave now, I'll just create more problems for everyone, especially since I can't fight, but I think I've regained enough energy to cast one or two spells.

As I debated my actions to myself, a familiar flash of golden lightning caught my eye. That's definitely Laxus. He shouldn't be in any condition to fight either, but if I can give him the remaining of my magic, it might power him up enough to win whatever fight he's in. I want to help him. I'll stay to the side and not interfere with the fight; I'll just go to give him my magic, that's all. There's still something I can do to help. Before I could change my mind, I dashed towards the lightning with my Lightning Body; I think I can use this a few more times if I want to save enough magic to power him up...

"Levina's gone!" someone exclaimed.

"What?! Those stupid brats! What do they think they're doing in their conditions?! Go find them!" the doctor clicked her tongue. I'm sorry Ms. Porlyusica, but I don't want to lay here so helplessly when I can help someone out there.

As I caught my breath, I continued moving towards where the huge lightning was striking. As I got closer, my brother's magic and presence grew stronger, but another bone-chilling presence also became noticeable. I can't forget such an intense presence even if I wanted to- there was no doubt that the demon from before was also there, and Laxus is fighting it right now. When I arrived on scene, it looked like the fight had already ended, with Laxus defeating the demon again; he even managed to receive a blood sample. For a split second, I think I was more scared of Laxus than the demon... Who the hell can move like that in his condition?

"Hell's Core is not there?!" the demon gasped, "I'm left with no choice then... I'll have to self-destruct and release the Magic Barrier Particles again." That can't happen! The others were far too exhausted and injured to defend against the monster anymore, and there was no one else around to finish him off- no one but me... But what can I do? Even in perfect condition, I don't think I can defeat him- I mean, clearly since I wasn't able to do that back at 8 Island, so why would I suddenly be able to defeat him now? There's nothing I can do to defeat him. There's no spell I know that can guarantee to end the demon once and for all; I'm not strong enough.... Realization suddenly hit me. There is a spell I can cast that will defeat him for good. There's no doubt that spell can end him, but can I do it? Am I strong enough to cast it? Am I worthy of using such a grand spell...?

No, I have to cast it. At this moment, it's not whether I can or cannot, I have to. If I want my friends and family to live, I have to cast it. I've been working hard the past few years, I can do this. I can do this... With a deep breath, my lightning clouded my body, engulfing me in the calming sparks I'm more than familiar with, but this time, my lightning felt... different. Although I'm not sure how to describe this feeling, it seems like my magic has temporarily increased. No, it feels more like an adrenaline rush, a high, if I must. The remaining ethernano I had in me channeled in my hands as the bright white light shined before me. A grand magic circle opened in front of me, turning everyone's attention to the shining Fairy Tail insignia in the middle.
