Spring had finally come to an end and summer immediately replaced it. The scorching summer of July was here again, marking the third anniversary of my relationship with Sting. The Grand Magic Games was also right around the corner, and everyone in town was bustling and full of excitement for the festival like always.

"Hey Sting, are we gonna join the Games this year?" Rogue asked.

"Nah. The guilds from last year aren't gonna join so it'll be no fun," the master answered.

"How'd you know they aren't joining?" I asked.

"I asked them at the last guild masters' meeting," he replied, "And besides, I have a little something planned for our guild this week." As those words rolled off his tongue, a suspicious, low chuckle followed, leaving us feeling uneasy about whatever he had planned.

"What are you pulling this time?" the shadow dragon questioned.

"What do you mean 'this time'?! And I'm not telling ya' anyways!" Sting growled, clearly offended by Rogue's tone, "Well, everyone will know later, but for now, let's go, Beans~ The movie is starting soon." I glanced at the clock on the stone wall, and indeed, it was almost time for our movie to begin. This year, Sting and I decided on a simple movie date to celebrate our anniversary, so we've been keeping an eye out for any movie that'll catch our eye; coincidentally, the second part of a movie we previously watched had recently come out, so we'll be going to watch that.

"Ditching work to see a movie?" Orga teased.

"If I remember correctly, today is their anniversary," Rufus said.

"Lector won't go with you two?" Yukino asked.

"No, it's their date today, so I'll leave them alone. Besides, I promised Frosch to go shopping with him, so we'll be doing that in the meantime," Lector answered and left the guildhall with Frosch, not without an endless list of worries from Rogue.

"We'll be going too," Sting interlocked his fingers with mine as we exited the building, leading me to the movie theaters. The entire way, he happily swung our arms back and forth, unable to contain his excitement.

        "Excited for the movie?"

"Yep! I heard a lot of good reviews for it, so I guess I have high expectations for it. Plus, I can go see it with you, so of course I'm excited."

"You seriously need to stop reciting lines from romance dramas," I chuckled. But despite what I said, those cheesy lines really do make my heart skip a beat and butterflies flutter in my stomach. Throughout the four years of knowing him and the three years of us dating, Sting has always been a romantic person; there was never a need for a grand gesture or anything big, but his little actions and words were always more than enough to demonstrate his love and move my heart. And I don't think he is really trying to be romantic either; he seems to just speak from his heart, and every word he tells me just happens to make me smile like a fool.

"Was it too cheesy?" he laughed.

"Kinda, but it was cute though."

        "So you do like it."

"It just came out of nowhere, so I was a bit surprised."

"Well, I gotta learn to be romantic from somewhere, right? Before you, I don't have any dating experience, so I gotta learn somehow."

"Just being you is already more than enough, but I guess I don't mind the random cheesy lines and actions here and there," I giggled and pecked his cheek, sending a wide smile across his face.
