As usual, Sunoo came to school with fear, wishing he could move to another school every day. This included the 6th time he moved; every school he attended, his fate remained the same—bullied by everyone. With his figure looking nerdy and weak, people found it easy to release their anger on him. He couldn't do anything and just followed what they told him to do.
Sunoo held his bag tightly while walking into school, lowering his head and praying for a bit of luck today. He started walking fast, hoping no one would see him, but his steps stopped when someone called him. "Sunoo! Come here!" someone suddenly shouted at him.
Sunoo shut his eyes and sighed deeply. "Here we go again," he mumbled, walking slowly toward them. When Sunoo was in front of them, they laughed at him for being scared. "Sunoo, why? Are you trying to run away?" asked one of them while putting his hand around Sunoo's shoulder.
"No, I'm not... I just want to go to the toilet," Sunoo stuttered while lying for his life. "Really? Why? You want to poop?" asked the bully, his friends laughing at that.
"No—I mean, yes," Sunoo tried to deny it but needed to admit it, thinking they would let him go. "Then poop here; we will watch you," said the bully with a hard voice. Sunoo opened his eyes wide, couldn't expect that. "I—"
"You're trying to run, right? Sunoo, don't try to run from us. Give us the money! It's your job!" he raised his voice. Sunoo became more scared because after this, he might be hit. "But I don't have money today," Sunoo's voice slowed.
"Guys, what should we do to this idiot?" The bully asked his friends. "We should hit him!"
"No, let's lock him in the toilet." All of them laughed; Sunoo was about to cry but held himself by swallowing hard. "You're lucky my mood's a bit good today. I'll just hit your pretty face."
Sunoo was glad because it was okay for him to just accept one hit on his face. He surrendered to what happened and just let it be. The moment he wanted to punch Sunoo, his hand was suddenly stopped by someone.
"Fuck, who are you—"
"Back off," said a girl with a mullet haircut, holding a helmet in her other hand. "Who are you to say that?" asked the bully. "I'm his friend."
Sunoo was surprised because no one had ever said that to him in his life. But he hoped this girl would stop now because he didn't want her to be their next victim because of him. "Woah, Sunoo, since when do you have a friend? You didn't tell us?" asked the bully.
"She's not my friend," Sunoo tried to deny because he didn't want to involve her. "You're not his friend," said the bully to provoke her.
"Oh well, we started being friends today," she replied. "Bitch, if you don't want to get hit, don't get into our business," threatened the bully.
"I'll let you go because you're a girl."
"What's wrong with the gender discrimination in this world? Shit, I hate it." She stretched her neck and hands, ready for something. "Then, I have no choice, let's warm up this morning," said her to the bully.
All of them laughed just because she was a girl. The bully tried to hit her, but she avoided it and kicked his 'manly' parts carelessly, making him fall to his knees while holding that sensitive area. She then locked his hands behind his back.
His friends came closer to hit her, but she shouted at them. "Don't try to do anything! Or I'm going to take off this motherfucker's head!" she shouted with a hard voice, her eyes glaring at them with a cold gaze. They stopped and didn't know what to do. "Who wants to be my next target?!" she asked, making his friends run, leaving him there.
"I told you, don't underestimate me, dumbass. One more time I see you bully someone, I'll finish your life for real," she whispered in his ear. She let go of him, and he ran in fear—such a loser, weak, and coward.
She then continued to do what she wanted to do before—searching for her class since it was her first day at that school.
What a great start.
