18: miss the friendship

"I'm sorry. I still don't have money to pay." begging him to the gang his borrow money with. "I give you a chance one month already! Put his hand on the table now!!" He telling his people to hold him, that person makes him mad for delaying the pay of the debt that reach 10 million won already.

He whining and begging to give him more days. But, they heard that words every time they ask for the pay. He then cut one of his finger to give him a warning. He screaming in pain because of that and blood flows everywhere.

"Kang Dosung, l give you so last fucking chance. If you can't pay, think another ways to pay my money. UNDERSTAND??!" said him while grab his hair and looks straight into his eyes. He nodded his head in shaking of being scared, that's what happened when you broke the rules. "And don't ever try or had idea to run, my people will always keep an eye on you."

They leave him alone there after giving him a warning, while he's still groaning in pain after one of his finger being cutted.

"Han, should we go somewhere again today?" asked Sunoo in cheerful tone, hoping for something from Han. "I don't think so." replied Han with crack voice, seems like she not really well today. "I think you caught a fever." Sunoo put his hand on Han forehead to feel her body temperature.

"Let's go to the hospital." Sunoo worried if the condition is going to be worst, so he grab her wrist go to the nurse's office. But she refused. "No need for that, I got strong antibody." Han didn't want Sunoo worry too much about her, she thinks it's just a normal fever. But she cough frequently times.

"Don't pretend, Han. Let's get a medicine to make you feel a bit better at least. " persuade him. "No, I just need a rest. I hope you can go back alone today, I have no energy to ride a motorcycle." said her while coughing a few times, her face also started to become pale.

Riki saw Han and Sunoo on his way to walk out from school, since the school session already end. It's been a long time he didn't approach Han, so he wants to approach her today. When he already stand close with Han and behind her, she suddenly faint and he caught her right before she falls on the floor.

"Han! Are you okay?!" Sunoo tried to wake her up in worried. "Are you stupid? Of course, she's not. Lead the way now." Riki scolding him when he didn't act quickly. Han lifted by Riki all the way to the nursing office. He seems worry seeing her condition now. That he runs fast than Sunoo now.

"Please check her up now, she suddenly faint." said Riki in worries, explaining to their school nurse. "Calm down first, you can sit there while we check her up." replied the nurse. Sunoo looks at Riki who looks more worried than him, it's give him insecure to protect Han when he doesn't have any abilities to protect her at all. Suddenly, he thinks Riki is a perfect match for Han, more than himself.

"I'm such a loser." mumbling him, then walk slowly to the chair nearby while waiting for Han being treated. "Who's a close friend of her?"asked the nurse suddenly. "Me!" Both of them raise their hand and say at the same time.
The nurse lost her words and confused too.
Sunoo confidently walk closer to the nurse to hear about her condition,  which Riki also come closer.

"Her body lacks of water, so we will add water to her body and it takes about 1 hours while wait for her conscious." explain her. "Alright, I got it. Thank you. " Sunoo bow to the nurse. He decided to wait for Han there until her wake up, he can do anything because he had no parents who will mad at him for being late going back home.

He sits back to the chair, and also Riki sits beside him. "You can go back, I'll wait for her here." said Riki, as if he kicks Sunoo out now. "Nah, you're the one suppose to going back now." replied him casually.

"You still a kid, a kid can't stay long outside until night." mock Riki, make fun of him by saying he stills a kid. But Sunoo keep himself calm. "At least no one going to nagging at me for going back home late, just wait until your father finds you in this school and pulls your ears."

"I'm saving you from embarrassment now." whisper him to Riki ears. He still remembers when they still being a friend and in the year one at highschool. Riki father will be mad and find him in school when he going back home late. "You! My father wouldn't do that anymore." Riki started to feel embarrassing remember that moment.

"Are you sure? Then, who is that? Your father, right?" Sunoo point at the door and Riki quickly turns around to look at the door while his eyes shaking. Turn out no one there, Sunoo just jokingly to play with him. And he laughed when Riki seems scared, his reaction was obvious make it funnier.

"Don't play with me, moron!" said Riki, his breathing now irregular. He was scared of his father that much. Seeing him in this situation right now, his cutest side came out. Even though they're not friend anymore, Sunoo misses the moment when they're still together back then. Escape the school together and being punished by discipline teacher almost every day.
