"Alright, so that's all for today. Don't forget to do your homework," the teacher announced as the last subject for the day concluded. Everyone rushed to pack their books and put them inside their bags. Excited to go home or anywhere they willing to go.
"Sunoo," called Myah. "What?" Sunoo responded, he's busy checking his phone in case Han sent him a message. "Are you free today?" asked Myah.
"No." Sunoo quickly left his table after putting all his books in his bag, and Myah following him behind. "So, when are you free?" she asked again. "I don't know, and even if I were free, why does it matter to you?" Sunoo replied, expressing a bit of frustration.
"I just want you to help me with the homework. There's nothing more than that." seeing how Sunoo treat her like she didn't have feeling make her mad too. It's not like she wants to flirt with him or something. "But if you don't like me, then okay, I get it," Myah replied in a serious tone, leaving him behind due to Sunoo's uninterested attitude.
Sunoo sighed, feeling guilty for repeatedly giving her uninterested reactions. He then chased her to apologize. "Myah!" he called out as she stopped. "I'm sorry for being rude. I'm just not in a good mood today," he said awkwardly. "Then what, if you are in a bad mood? Is it okay for you to express it to someone else?" replied Myah.
"I know, I shouldn't do that."
"Fine, I'm wrong too. Maybe my actions made you uncomfortable." She realized her mistake as well. "No, you're not. Okay, let's go somewhere. I'll teach you how to do homework." Sunoo agreed to her request to make up for his previous behavior.
"Really?! Oh my god, thank you!" she cheered suddenly, forgetting everything Sunoo did to her before.

Sunoo helped Myah with her homework, even though he wasn't particularly good at it. They worked on their class homework together. "Ugh, this is too much," Myah complained as the homework seemed overwhelming, even after hours of effort.
"I know, right? That's why I never bother to do all this homework," Sunoo replied, also stopping because his hands were almost cramping. "You never did any homework? That's cool. How did you manage get into the first class then?" Myah asked curiously.
"Maybe I did well in exams?" Sunoo looked away, seemingly showing off. "Tch, good for you," Myah replied in annoyance. Suddenly, two students from their school just come into the café caught Myah's attention.
"Isn't them from our school?" she asked Sunoo, looking at the students. "Huh?" Sunoo looked at them and saw that it was Han and Riki.
"Just that? Buy more; I'll pay," Riki said in slightly arrogant tone. "Whoa, seems like someone is going to be poor soon," Han commented sarcastically. "Chocolate waffle, strawberry waffle, and peanut waffle, each one too, please," Han ordered excitedly, her voice loud enough for Sunoo and Myah can hear at such distance.
"Are you a pig? Are you sure you can eat that much?" Riki teased. "You said you'd pay for it," Han rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"People change in just a second," Sunoo mumbled then looking away. He felt annoyed every time he saw both of them together. "Huh? Why did that girl suddenly staring at us?" Myah quickly looked away when Han stared in their direction.
"Ignore them; let's continue our homework," Sunoo suggested, focusing on his book. "But she still looks at us. Does she know us?" Myah wanted to look at her back, but by the time she glanced at Han, she and Riki had already left the cafe.
"What's wrong with her?" Myah asked. Sunoo remained silent, piquing Myah's curiosity. "Do you know her?" she asked Sunoo, sensing something was off. "No," Sunoo replied, continuing doing his homework.
"Then why did she look at you for so long?"
"I don't know."
"Sunoo, that answer makes it obvious. I know there is something between both of you." Sunoo sighed and closed his eyes; he couldn't focus on his homework. "Tell me; maybe I can help," said Myah. "She's my friend."
"You said you don't have one."
"She is the only one, my friend. She always protects me from being bullied."
"Whoa, that's cool of her. Then why do you guys seem to ignore each other now?"
"Because I lack many things; that's why she found a new friend, I guess."
"But the way she looks at you before, I feel like she still wants to be your friend." Myah convinced Sunoo not to jump to conclusions too quickly. "If she really wants to still be my friend, she wouldn't hesitate to approach me just now."
"I don't know about that, but if you still want to be her friend, you should approach her too." Myah gave Sunoo advice even though she didn't have any friends either.
