Chapter 2:

"You? My lover?"

"Yes. I am your lover,"

"Who said it?"

"Us. Did you forget it? I should kill the guy who pushed you yesterday! I promise to protect you from now own, Davina,"

"Don't touch me,"

I said habang tinapik ko ang kaniyang kamay na hahawakan sana ako at lumayo konti and he look at me hurted na tila ba maiiyak dahil sa ginawa ko na lalong nagpakunot sa noo ko dahil pavictim siya when I never agreed in the first place since Allyssa said that I didn't answered him or I admitted to them since I just smiled as a response everytime they asked me.

"D-did I do something wrong, Davina? Why are you doing this? You love me right?"

"What are you talking about? I don't love you, and you just force yourself on me. Please don't bother me anymore because we didn't have it in the first place,"

"W-hat? Davina, let's talk! Don't do this to me! We love each other, how could you do this to me?!"

He shouted at her since they left him and her mother is so proud that she dumped that guy while the people in the market are listening to them.

"I am glad that you do that to Lexin. He deserves it,"

My mom said no'ng nakalayo na kami sa market since he was embarrassed dahil napahiya siya as they town's people is talking about him since we are in a country side kaya halos magkakakilala lahat ng mga tao dito.

"I hope that he will stop bothering us since I am afraid that he will come back for what I did to him at the market,"

"Don't worry, Davina. He will have the will to do that since if anything happens to you then it is him that we suspect but we just have to be careful,"

"Yes,"

Sagot ko habang nagpatuloy kaming namalengke at agad na umuwi sa aming bahay. Naabutan naman namin si Allyssa na naghihintay sa labas ng bahay na tila ba hindi mapakali sa kaniyang kinakatayuan dahil palakad lakad ito na pabalik pabalik.

"Allyssa, what are you doing here?"

"Miss Lyna and Davina, thank goodness! Both of you are okay,"

Balik na sagot sa akin ni Allyssa as she immediately hug me at nawala ang pag-aalala sa kaniyang mukha.

"You worried about nothing, Allyssa. We are alright,"

"Did you really dump that bast--Lexin?"

"Yes, he was so desperate that we are lovers and he even told me that we love each other which makes me want to vomit,"

Naasar na sabi ko habang naaalala ko ang nangyari kanina doon, and Allyssa looks at me unbelievable as if I am telling jokes as she turns to my mom so I look at her uninterested with my mom who is nodding at nakangiti na tila ba patunay na nag sasabi ako ng totoo.

"I am so proud of you, Davina! Finally, you denied that bast---guy, Lexin,"

Masayang ani niya sa akin habang nakatingin na napakaproud sa harapan ko which makes me feel a little insulted since I feel like I was so dumb to like that guy when I just met him the first time and he is blubbering nonsense.

"Aggh! Stop it. I feel like stupid, Allyssa,"

"HAHAHA, oh sorry!"

"Are you making fun of me?"

"N--no,"

She answered as we entered the house since my mom had already went inside after nodding to Allyssa at feel na feel at home si Allyssa dahil agad itong naupo sa sofa sa salas at ako naman ay ipinunta sa kitchen ang hawak kong gulay. Nagsalin din ako ng juice para sa aming tatlo pero iniwan ko yo'ng kay mama since andun siya while I put the two glasses of juice on a tray as I went back to Allyssa since hindi naman malaki ang bahay namin ni mama kaya magkakalapit lang ang kusina sa salas at makikita ang hagdan papataas sa kwarto namin.
