"I'm done,"

"Haahh~~"

Davina breathed heavily after enduring the pain of the treatment but she could still feel the pain although, it was a little better than before.

"You endured it well, Miss Davina. You need to clean the wound twice a day and it will take a few days to heal,"

"I see. Thank you for treating me, Sir Philip,"

"No worries, but you need to be careful and don't let your wound go like this again. Also, drink this once a day for you to recover fast,"

Philip said as he put down a small bottle with small yellow balls on the side table. Davina just looks at him since she can't sit down because of the pain when she moves.

"It's okay, you don't have to move and lay down for a while. Anyways, you really look like a man right now, how I wish I could see how you look like with your long hair,"

"Hah? I have always had this short hai--"

"Every woman had this kind of habit and you, tacking your hair in your ear with that hair and most likely you just cut your hair recently,"

"How observant, but you are correct,"

"Unfortunately, I can't see how beautiful you are with your long hai--Aw~~"

Philip groans at the chief hit him since he was leaning on her while looking at her eyes directly.

"I told you that don't do anything,"

"I didn't, chief,"

Philip distanced himself from her and fixed his eyeglasses that almost dropped while Davina watched them and she couldn't help herself that she found him handsome while fixing his eyeglasses but looked away because of his attitude which gave him off like a womanizer.

"It's rude to stare but I'll let you off since I don't mind women staring at me often because I look handsome,"

Davina frowns as she looks away again from him since she can't argue with him as she is staring at him earlier and she looks at him when he speaks.

"Don't get me wrong. I am just looking at you since you look like a womanizer,"

"...what?"

Philip looks at Davina with shock since he didn't expect her statement when he usually receives agreement or shy reply but he also gets that treatment often. Philip also received that kind of statement from women he met twice or many times but not the first time.

"Nevermind. Thank you for treating me,"

"..."

Philip was speechless by her statement as she immediately closed her eyes and went to sleep while he was still looking at her in shock.

Philip didn't utter any word as he fix his things and the chief see him off. Davina felt relieved since he didn't talk to her kaya naman pinagpatuloy niyang matulog para hindi niya gaanong maramdaman ang sakit ng kaniyang sugat.

"She really gives off a familiar feeling even when the first time I saw her,"

Philip uttered after leaving the chief's house as he tried to remember who it was but he just shook his head as he didn't want to confuse himself and bitterly smiled.
