"Please stay the night, your Grace since it will be hard to go back when it is raining and take a rest,"

"Alright, I will stay the night. I don't want to be nosy but you look like you are looking for someone earlier when I arrive. Is there an intruder or something?"

"Ah, that, yes, we are looking for someone but we already found her. Thank you for the concern, Your Grace,"

Marquess Bennett smiled and let Ian guided by a maid to the room where he would be staying while Ian didn't really care as long as he confirmed that the Marquess was doing well. Ian just looked outside the window where the rain was still pouring down when he unusually remembered something while going to the Bennett mansion earlier since it was really good weather where it was nice to go sleep in an open space where you could see the clear sky.

"I see,"

Ian answered as he looked away from the window and followed the maid in front of him. He immediately sits down on the bed and then lies down as he is tired from going to the Marquess's house after coming from working at the palace.

*knock* *knock*

"Your Grace, the dinner is ready,"

"Okay, I'll be out in a minute,"

Ian answered as he stood up and fixed his clothes since he didn't notice the time as he had slept for an hour and he followed the maid to the dining room. He was surprised to see the daughter of the Marquess that he had been looking for years and he somewhat thought she looked familiar but she just greeted him and smiled at him.

"Greetings, Your Grace,"

"Good to see you, Lady Bennett. I see, why the Marquess didn't go to our mansion today. He found you,"

"...ah, yes,"

Roselyn smiled awkwardly since she didn't expect that he knew that her father was looking for her kaya naman agad siyang nag iwas ng tingin but she still managed to calm herself from nervousness since she knew that the heir of Vego was observant.

"Sorry for being late and I just told the maid to get her,"

Marquess Bennett after coming to the dining room and immediately sat on the side of Ian who was at the center of the table. The maid who fetched Davina came back with a worried face and approached Roselyn and then Marquess Bennett.

"I have to go, Father. I'll just eat later,"

"Okay, you go and call for a physician,"

Marquess Bennett answered and Roselyn took leave after apologizing to Ian and Ian just nodded since she saw her worried face and that's when he realized that she looked similar but he couldn't remember where she saw them as he didn't bother memorizing people's faces and names but he can vaguely remember the face she made just like the woman from the countryside that they gone to gather some herbs.

"Is someone sick?"

"Yes, her daughter is sick after being soaked from the rain. I thought, I could introduce you to her but unfortunately, she is sick,"

"It's okay, Marquess Bennett. I can meet her when there is a banquet that I need to attend so it's alright if I can't meet her now,"

"Don't worry, Duke Vego. I don't have any plans to set her up with you since I already learned my lesson with my daughter so I just want her to meet someone that can be her friend before introducing her as my granddaughter,"

"I see, but I am not interested. Although, I can meet her when the time has come and this is not the time,"

"I understand, Your Grace,"
