"...you are a bit familiar, Lady Bennett. Did we meet somewhere?"Ronan asked her as he looked at her eyes and leaned a little towards her face, when he supported her back as she leaned back, and he bent a little. Davina tried not to avoid his eyes before answering him.
"I don't think so, but I do know you, Marquis Alfinos,"
"I see,"
Ronan seems to believe her, but then he was not convinced by it, however, he didn't ask another question since she was looking at him directly. Davina was relieved that he didn't ask or doubt her answer as he remained silent. They continued to dance until the end of the music, and she immediately ran away as soon as the music ended to Sir Mao, when Ronan was surprised that Davina didn't even look like the person whom he danced with that night, which made him so familiar, but then he just shrugged it off.
"She was really familiar,"
Ronan uttered as he just looked at her back running away from him, and smiled a little, which made him cover his mouth as he unconsciously smiled a little, remembering how she obviously avoided him even though he didn't do anything with her.

"Sir Mao, let's go now,"
Sir Mao was surprised when Davina pulled him as soon as she saw him and immediately went out of the banquet hall. He tried to tell her to slow down, but then she didn't slow down as they went to their carriage.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing wrong. I just want to go home,"
"You didn't have to pull me. Look, your feet are swollen from walking, let me see them properly,"
Sir Mao immediately knelt down to check on her feet since he saw it red when they were walking, and she was slightly holding up a little on her dress for her to walk faster. Davina didn't feel the pain since she was focused on getting out of the banquet and going home, and now she felt it when Sir Mao told her.
"...I'm okay. Let's just go,"
"Let me carry you,"
"!"
Sir Mao didn't wait for an answer from her as he carried her inside the carriage and gently put her down, and sat on the other side after he removed her heels.
"We'd better get home fast so it will be treated as soon as possible,"
"I am okay, it's not the first time that I got swollen from it,"
"You should have told me earlier, so you didn't have to endure it,"
"I am fine,"
"No, you are not. Your feet look worse than the last time,"
Sir Mao was still looking at her feet while she just hid it under her dress so he couldn't see it.
"Why are you so concerned? Did you eat something at the banquet?"
Davina was a little uncomfortable because he was suddenly so worried about her when he was not like that, though he gets worried, but he always makes it fun or teases her, but now he didn't tease her or make fun of her like usual.
"Even I can make a serious conversation, Lady Davina. We might be arguing all the time, but I know you are really in pain by just looking at your feet,"
Davina looked at her, surprised, and couldn't read what he was thinking when she looked at him, and he was looking at her with a poker face, so she didn't know if he was serious or what. Sir Mao sighed as he didn't control himself to be so serious and worried about her when she was denying being in pain, even though her feet is not looking good even after he removed her heels from her feet.
