Chapter 53:

"Ugh! *coughs*"

She coughed blood when she was hit on her abdomen after hitting her neck, and didn't get the chance to dodge as she doesn't have the energy to move now. The beast also growls after getting hit, which Crown Prince Renz and the others heard the beast's growl, and they immediately go in that direction.

"I don't know how you know that name, Young Lady."

Davina was slowly losing her consciousness when she saw a wolf in front of her before she closed her eyes. Ash immediately killed the beast in front of him before looking back at Davina, which he felt strange as he heard her calling his name, and carried her on his back in his wolf form. Crown Prince Renz saw Ash's wolf form, and Davina on his back, which was really a deja vu, but then he just walked passed through them.

"Ash."

Crown Prince Renz called at Ash, but he just looked back and didn't stop as he continued to go out of the inner area of the forest. They silently followed him as they finally got out of it and saw the others waiting for them to come back.

"Davina!"

Allyssa shouted as soon as she saw Davina on Ash's back, but Ash glared at her, so she backed away as he went to Duke Blaze, Hanz. Ash transforms into his human form, carrying Davina, in a bridal style, as he looks at Hanz.

"Take care of her."

"Leave it to me."

Hanz said as he gently got Davina from his hands, as Hanz's knight immediately prepared his things, while Ash followed them to Hanz's tent. Allyssa, Sir Mao, Ian, Crown Prince Renz, Raniel, and Lady Miary were there watching as Hanz took care of Davina inside his tent with his assistant.

"How did you know where she was, and why did you save her?"

"How would I know? I just heard my name."

Ash answered as he was sitting on one of the logs outside Hanz's tent, with his hands crossed. Crown Prince Renz was also wandering when he called on his name but he didn't show up, but what got his curiousity was that Davina didn't know Ash's name since it was not known publicly, and beast's had different names once they have made pact or agreed to a human so Ash is the name he just uses because it was from 'her'.

"You heard your name? from her?"

"Yes, who is she? Did she know me?"

"She is Lady Davina from House Bennett. I am not sure, but she does know that we have a magical beast here in this hunting event; other than that, she doesn't know you or your name."

"Hm."

Ash remained silent as he was also thinking why he had heard his name from her as if it asking for help, so he didn't hesitate to go check on her. After an hour, Hanz came out with his assistant, so everyone looked at him, especially Ash, who was in front of his tent.

"How is she?" Ash asked.

"She's okay. I just tended to her wounds and gave her medicine, but she needs to rest."

Hanz said as he smiled at them. "Sir Mao, you can check on her and take care of her." He added as he looked at Sir Mao.

"I will stay with her, too."

Ash said, and everyone was surprised since he was not contracted to her or had a pact, but he wanted to stay with her. Sir Mao just went inside to check on his lady, while Ash also went in. Davina was sleeping peacefully after being tended to her wounds, while Sir Mao just sat down on the chair beside her bed, where she was lying down.
