"Sir Kerz, do you have food? I am hungry,"

Kerz looked at her and chuckled before he stood up, he scooped some of their food earlier since they had leftover, and gave her the bowl. Davina felt embarrassed, but then she was hungry, so she asked him bluntly.

"Eat well, Lady Bennett."

"You can just call me by my name, and thank you for the food."

"No worries, Miss Davina,"

"No, I will cook something tomorrow morning for our breakfast."

"You don't need to."

"I don't take no as an answer."

Davina said as she looked at him seriously, so Kerz just nodded from her stubbornness, and let her make their breakfast. He just watched her eat while he put some wood on the fire to keep it alive, while she silently ate her food. After that, they discussed random things throughout the night until Sir Mao woke up at dawn.

"Miss Davina, you are something to do that."

"I told you I am not some normal noblewoman."

"It seems you two are closed now."

Sir Mao interrupted them, having fun in front of the bonfire, so they both turned to him and stopped laughing. Sir Mao looked at her since she didn't wake him up to sleep, which made him worry that she would be tired later.

"Great timing, Sir Mao. You go prepare the things I need, I will be cooking our breakfast."

"What? You will what?"

"I'm going to cook."

"You are not cooking, so how will you make our breakfast?"

"Just prepare the things I will be needing and shut up. I will cook,"

Davina said as she smiled at Sir Mao forcefully and looked at him seriously. Sir Mao looked at her unbelievably since he had never seen her cook, and he also heard from her mother that she didn't let her cook even when they were in the countryside, so he was doubting her. Kerz, on the other hand, held back his laugh at them because Davina was able to make Sir Mao obey her, and he couldn't refuse her commands.

Sir Mao immediately prepared what she needed and followed her instructions. Kerz helped Sir Mao with her instructions.

"Does she really not cook?"

"Yes, I don't know if we will be having edible food for breakfast or not. You guys better refuse her food, and I recommend that you cook."

"I should have refused her offer earlier."

So, you agreed? Why did she offer to cook, by the way?"

Sir Mao asked, and Kerz told him the reason, which made Sir Mao sigh at his statement. Kerz doesn't know if he will stop Davina and take over instead.

"Did you say something, Sir Mao?"

"I didn't."

Sir Mao answered immediately as he told her that everything she needed was all set and that she could cook now.

"You guys wait there and stay still, okay?"

Davina said as she looked at them, and they both nodded as they went to the bonfire and sat down on the logs as they looked at her cook. Sir Mao didn't expect her to cook, and that she moved like it was nothing, and looked like she had experience cooking outdoors.

"Just tell me if you needed some help, Lady Davina."

"Sure, help me with this. Make sure to stir evenly, then put this, then this, and lastly this."
