"We need more of this, Sir Mao.""Miss Davina, we will retreat if we can't kill it, so don't push yourself. Also, I can't let you get hurt."
"I know, but I can't let this slide for me to train fighting beasts."
Sir Mao sighed at her stubbornness, but he was also happy that she wanted to get stronger here at the hunting event, which was to help her more. They proceeded to continue when they saw Ian and Lady Collins fighting a group of ogres who were surrounding them. Davina can see that they are strong, but then they will be exhausted before they can escape, since the number of ogres is much compared than theirs.
"Sir Mao."
"Yes, Miss Davina. I am ready."
"Alright. Let's help them."
Sir Mao nodded as they helped Ian and Lady Collins fight the ogres. Davina went to the other side where Ian was, since he was handling more on his side than Lady Collins. Ian didn't speak when he saw Davina beside him as they killed the ogres one by one, as they both compatible even without communicating, as they both watched each other's backs. Ian didn't think she would be able to read his movements.
"Who taught you that?"
"Huh? Sir Mao."
Davina answered, but Ian frowned since her fighting style was similar to 'her' that he saw from before when she disguised herself as a maid, where Lady Collins, Crown Prince Renz, and Ian fight the thugs before, along with her. Ian observed her while they were fighting the ogres until they finally killed all of them.
"That's tiring."
Davina said as she approached Sir Mao, who was helping Lady Collins. Lady Collins was panting as she sat down on the ground, while Ian also approached her.
"Is she okay?"
Davina asked as she looked at Sir Mao. "Yes, she's okay, but she needs rest." Sir Mao answered.
"Here, Lady Miary."
"Thank you, Ian."
Lady Miary answered as she accepted the water from Ian, and drank it while Davina and Sir Mao drank their water. They all rest for a bit before collecting the magic stones from the ogres.
"Thank you for helping us."
"No worries, Lady Collins."
Davina answered as she smiled at Lady Collins as they picked up the magic stone. Ian and Sir Mao are also picking on the other side silently.
"Anyway, Lady Bennett. Who taught you how to fight like that? I mean, you were fighting with something that is not a part of the swordmanship of House Bennett."
"Oh, that's just someone I know back in the countryside."
"I see."
Lady Collins said as she looked at her, and couldn't help but smile since Davina had a similar expression to 'her', especially when something she couldn't tell. Ian, on the other hand, looks at them unnoticed since he is observing Davina now.
"Why don't we go as a group now. I think our teamwork isn't bad."
Lady Collins suggested that after they divided the magic stones, she make a point since they have been fighting beasts in groups too since earlier.
"Alright. I don't mind."
"Great! That's okay, Ian?"
Lady Collins said as she smiled at Davina, who had just agreed before looking at Ian, who was also surprised by her suggestion, as he sighed before nodding.
