Chapter 35:

"Alright, Mao. Let's go there,"

Davina pulled his sleeve again to the place she pointed out and he just followed her without answering since he was already being pulled.

"It's beautiful, right?"

"Yes, I didn't think there was a place here,"

"I know, I found it when I went out two months ago. The sunrise was also breathtaking,"

Davina looked at Mao's face since she didn't get any response or comment from him even though it wasn't required but she smiled after looking at his face smiling a little while closing his eyes and enjoying the cool breeze wind.

"..."

"Should we go now?"

"Huh? What time is it?"

Davina didn't think she had lost time looking at the blue sky since they had decided to lie on the grass for a while. Mao checked his pocket watch to see the time while she waited for his response.

"It's past 3 PM. Let's go now since it will take an hour or two hours to arrive at the estate,"

"It's too time-consuming going here and going back. How I wish we had a house here,"

"There is,"

"There is?!"

"Yes, but I don't know since the Marquess didn't use it when he came here unless he needed to go to the palace early in the morning,"

"I see, you don't know. You are useless,"

"Even if I know I will not go there with you," He jokingly told her.

"What?! So, you did know?!"

Davina looked at him annoyed as he smirked at her to tease her. She wants to punch him in the face but she will not get an answer if he doesn't want to tell her whether he knows it or not.

"Maybe,"

"You! But If I knew where it is, I should stay there for at least a week,"

"We should get going though if you don't want to get scolded,"

"Ah, yes. I promised her that I will be back before 6 PM,"

Mao offers his hand to help her get up and she holds his hand to get up before they walk towards their carriage.

"You can go first. I need to do something,"

"Hm, okay,"

Davina was curious when they were near their carriage when he told her that but then she thought that he might be going to the comfort room or something so she just nodded as she continued to walk to the carriage. Mao sighed in relief since she didn't ask where is he going when Davina was the person to ask like a kid that you need to tell her or else she will bother you until you tell her.

"...should I take revenge for him?"

She uttered while thinking about the man who approached them at the cafe since he was familiar with the nobles that she needed to know.

"Aw!"

Davina uttered when she fell down on her butt since may bumangga siya at hindi niya nakita kong sino ito dahil tumatakbo ito when someone offered his hand to help her get up. Masama ang kaniyang tingin sa lalaking tumakbo papalayo sa kaniya habang may humahabol sa kaniya na isa pang lalaki.

"Are you okay?"

"I am okay. Thank you,"

"!"

Dravis was surprised when Davina immediately pulled back her hand when she saw his face and looked away since she didn't think that the voice was familiar and didn't think that she would see the man that she saw 2 months ago.
