"Why would I need to bring him with me?!"

"He will be your knight since I can't let you go alone and drink this one before you go. You need to conceal your appearance when going out, right?"

"Yes, I know,"

Davina drinks the colorless liquid in the water goblet that her mom gave her after she learns about her family background and why they need to be careful when going out. Roselyn made sure that she would drink what she gave to her to conceal her appearance every time Davina went outside in secret when she could go out freely but Davina said that she didn't want attention since she couldn't enjoy it so she was willing to drink it.

"Take care and enjoy,"

"Yes, yes. I will bring you something,"

"Okay,"

Davina immediately went out of her office and went to the training ground to fetch her knight. She saw them doing one-on-one sparring and immediately saw Sir Mao's back at the center kaya naman agad siyang naglakad papunta sa kaniya.

"Greetings, Young Miss,"

"Just continue your sparring. I am just passing by and I am going to take this guy with me,"

Sir Mao was wondering why is she there and surprised when Davina pointed to him before she pulled him.

"..wh-what? Where are you taking me? I am not done with them,"

"I need you so get changed into something simple since we don't have much time,"

"Wait, are you going out?! Is that why you are wearing a cloak and changed your appearance?"

"Yes,"

Davina lets go of him and Sir Mao follows her even though they were used to her coming with her appearance now as she was always done so the knights were used to her now. The knights were even shipping them in secret as Sir Mao was not okay with it so they are secretly shipping them like when she dragged him away from them.

"Why are you so slow? We need to go now,"

"I didn't even want to go out but I was dragged to come with you,"

"Enough with complaints and get inside,"

"...fine,"

Sir Mao got inside the carriage and sat across her with a bored expression on his face while Davina looked excited to get out again after the banquet and took a week for her to go out.

"Could you move faster? I didn't even want to bring you but it was her condition so I have no choice so bear with me or would you like to wait at the carriage instead? That will work with me too,"

"No, I will follow you,"

"Ugh, then walk faster. Are you a woman?"

"Yes, I am,"

Sir Mao sarcastically answered her as he walked slower while Davina was looking at him unbelievable habang nakacross arms at hinihintay siya sa hindi kalayuan.

"Ugh, why are you so stingy? I will treat you since I brought my own money,"

"Really?"

"Yes,"

Davina showed her pouch to Sir Mao and he walked towards her in a few seconds so she smirked. Sir Mao was smiling as he approached her and even offered his hand to her.

"Are you that happy that I will be treating you?"

"No, I am happy to serve you, My Lady,"

He answered and held her hand in his arms as they walked to a cafe since Sir Mao was always the one who paid for their food every time they went out so he would not let this slide for a free meal.
