Chapter 26:

"What should I do?! I should have behaved properly and did not fight earlier if I had known that he was a Marquess?! I should have thought that he is a little special for his eye color not just a regular noble!"

Napasabunot nalang si Davina sa kaniyang sarili dahil sa mga naiisip niyang pwedeing mangyari sa kaniya dahil sa mga nagawa niya habang kasama si Ronan pero naisip niya na si Ronan ang may kasalanan since he just dragged her way to his home even though she doesn't want to go with him.

"It's not like he will punish me, right? He is the one who brought me here and if he wants to punish me then he should be punishing me instead of accommodating me,"

Davina uttered as she looks around on the room since its not a normal room dahil sa mga kagamitan sa loob at malawak ang kwarto kung nasaan siya ngayon. She can't believe that this is a room for a guest since it is already extraordinary and she can't imagine the room of the Marquess.

"Should I apologize? Nah~ it's not my fault and why does he have to be persistent to catch me? I am not a noble or anything and I didn't do any crim-- don't tell me it's the woman and child that I save??"

She is talking to herself and realizes something since the woman and child don't look a commoner even though they are wearing simple clothes and it's the one she saved from the bandits.

"Did they ask the Marquess to find me? If then, I will meet them, hm,"

Davina laid down on the bed while talking to herself since the bed looked attracting to her and how soft it would be and she wasn't disappointed as it was soft and smelled good which made her sleepy. She did not expect her to sleep comfortably on the bed as she asleep as soon as she laid down on the mattress without removing her shoes since she was too lazy to remove them.

"Where is he?"

Ronan was wondering why the butler was the only one who came to the dining room without Davina since he told the butler to bring his quest after meeting the visitor earlier, he didn't expect to have a long conversation with his visitor and was already gone after the talk.

"I checked his room and he is sleeping peacefully. I tried to wake him up but he was not waking up so I let him sleep,"

"I see. You can deliver his dinner when he wakes up,"

"Yes, your Grace,"

His butler answered and went outside of the room as he started to eat.

"...where I am?"

Davina uttered when she open her one eye and saw an unfamiliar ceiling kaya naman napabangon siya ng wala sa oras at napatingin sa paligid niya at narealized niya na nasa pamamahay siya ni Ronan dahil sa sarap ng kaniyang tulog sa higaan ay nakalimutan niyang sa pilitan siyang pinatuloy doon.

"Ah, right. I was kidnapped by the Marquess,",

She uttered with sarcasm since she was dragged there, although, she followed him willingly because she didn't want to get hurt or anything and she was still in the process of healing her wounds.

*knock knock*

"Come in,"

She said after she heard a knock and the door opened revealing the butler with a trolley coming inside of the room.

"Good evening, Sir. It's good that you wake up to eat your dinner,"

He said kaya naman napatingin siya sa bintana since she thought it was the curtain making the room dim but it is not kaya naman napatayo siya sa kama at lumapit sa butler.
