Chapter 29:

"You are lucky that the Pri--Duke Blaze didn't recognize you,"

"I know, that is why I was surprised when I saw them in the countryside along with the other Duke heir and I was ready to go away but it seemed that they didn't recognize me so I didn't,"

She answered him with annoyance as she was still mad at him but for him, he was happy to see his daughter again. He wanted to ask for forgiveness but didn't know how to do it if she was ready to close her ears at any time if he wanted to talk about her, and that is why he told them to talk with her daughter as she refused to speak with him even after getting back to the estate aside from asking help to look for Davina.

"I see. Let her rest first since she seems to be tired as I found her in the market earlier and she needs time to take in the events today,"

"Davina, you should rest,"

"Huh? O-okay,"

Davina answered as she looked at her mother wondering since nakatulala siya at pinaprocess pa ang mga pangyayari sa kaniya but she was happy to see her mom kahit na naninibago siya sa itsura ng kaniyang ina ay napangiti nalang siya at tumingin siya sa taong na nasa harap nila.

"Thank you, Marquess Bennett. I found my mom,"

"Grandfather, call me grandfather. I told you earlier that I know your mom,"

"Yes, I believed you,"

"Yes, go and rest then we will continue talking later,"

"Thank you,"

Davina answered as she followed the butler who came in to escort her to her room while her mother stayed as the Marquess called for her to stay. She nods to her mother in response after telling her that she will follow her after they talk.

"This way, Lady Bennett,"

The butler said as he guided her in the hallway through her room. She didn't know what to say as she was surprised by the revelation from her mother as she sighed while walking as she thought that she would take in the events from today.

"Are you okay? Do you need something? I can bring you so--,"

"I am okay. Thank you but I want to be alone so can you guide me to the garden or something instead of to my room? Also, can you tell my mom that I need some time and I will make sure to come back before it gets dark,"

"As you wish, Lady Bennett,"

The butler said as he guided her out to the garden and it took them about 10 minutes to walk from the mansion. Davina was amazed by the garden she saw since it was so beautiful and had many flowers and a well near a small round table for tea time like what she saw in her previous life on her cellphone.

"How I wish I had my phone right now, but unfortunately, I can't and I miss using it. Hindi ko tuloy mapipicture ang magandang hardin na ito,"

She said while walking to the garden at napahawak sa mga bulaklak na kaniyang nadadaanan hanggang sa nakakita siya ng magandang pwesto kung saan pwedeng humiga. Agad siyang humiga sa may malapit na puno na kitang kita niya ang hardin at ang kalangitan na napakaasul na parang dagat.

"I didn't think that I would be a noble and doesn't need to be a knight for me to earn money but I will have many questions with Mom,"

She murmured while looking at the sky as she wondered why would her mother have lived in the countryside when she was a noble since they didn't tell her why aside from she ran away but she can ask her later kaya naman hindi niya namalayan na nakatulog siya dahil sa pagod niya at napakakomportable ng kaniyang pwesto which leads her to sleep.
