"Frisk!"

My eyes shoot open, seeing Chara above me with wide eyes.

"Chara?"

"Shit! Thank God you're okay!" He sighs out, holding onto me tight. I look around in confusion, seeing grimy beige walls with chipped paint on almost every corner.

"Chara. . . How long were you here for?"

"Ever since you got shot. . Why?"

No. . . no way. . . All this time I never recognized that it was him? How stupid am I. . .?

"Hey! Don't cry! I'm okay, we're okay! Its okay!" Chara stammers, holding me tight.

"No, its not! There was someone out there that looked just like you! Tried to be you! And I fucking fell for it!" I sobbed, clinging onto his dirty shirt. He looked down at me, not letting me go as he pat my back.

"Don't blame yourself. If the roles were reversed I wouldn't have thought it either. But, hey, at least we're back, right?"

". . . Right. . ."

"Right! Stop being a 'Chara'!"

"A Chara?"

"You know, how I overthink everything? And put myself to blame at times? That's what you're doing right now, and you should stop it. I'm not mad at you, so please don't be mad at yourself. ."

"Well. . . mad or not. . . we're stuck in this shithole. ."

"Yeahh, not the best or most sanitary, but the bed that I'm chained to is comfortable." He chuckles, yanking onto the rusted chain that was on his ankle.

". . .I'm so sorry. . ."

"Hey, what did I say? Its not your fault, there's absolutely nothing that you should be sorry for. Understand?"

Grimly, I nod, making Chara smile.

"Well, to brighten this shitty situation. . . Your dress is pretty. . !"

"Thanks. . . I wore it while I was on a date with the other you. . ."

"Heh. . . he's a lucky man. . . he didn't hurt you, did he?"

"He spiked my drink. . . forced me to drink some wine. ."

"That asshole. . " Chara growls, looking down before he then looks up at me, "I'll tell you what; once we get out of here and finish everything, I'll buy you a dress just like that and we'll go on a date! What do you say?"

". . . Yeah. . . I'd like that. ."

"G-great! Well, now I'm more motivated to get out of here!" He smiles, looking around while he hums softly,

"How are you so calm about being here?" I ask while Chara looks over at me,

"I'm not calm at all," He replies with a nervous laugh, "But I'm just glad to see your face again. . .gosh, that sounded so awkward, I'm so sorry. . ." Chara rubbed his temple, making me smile,

"No, its okay. . . I'm glad to see you again too. . . for real this time. ."

We exchange smiles with each other, until Chara cleared his throat, with his face reddening up by the second.

"I think they forgot to chain me to the bed. . ." I look down at my ankle and arms, seeing that there were no chains, "Hold on. ."

I took a pin out of my hair, making it fall down from the smooth bun that it was in. I insert the pin inside of the lock, and thankfully, it only took a few seconds or so to pop open.
