'BANG!'

.

.

.

.

.

As expected, I thought that I was going to see Frisk's brains splattered all over the floor. . but instead I look up, seeing that her hand was up, with a bullet through the ceiling instead of through her head.

"Frisk!"

I got up, my legs still wobbly from the hit before I go over to give her a hug, but instead was met with a slap to the face making me fall back down onto the floor.

"Chara! I told you to not save me!" She sneers, dropping the gun onto the floor while looking up at the new hole in the ceiling.

"I- I'm sorry! I thought that he left you alone!"

". . Shit. . he could have hurt you. . "

"Hurt me?! You had a bullet to your head! And. . its all my fault. . "

"No- no, baby. . don't put that into your head. ." She sighs, laying down on the floor next to me, "I wouldn't have expected it either. I'm alive, you're alive, and we're okay!" She kisses my cheek, "I'm sorry for slapping your face. ."

"No need to apologize. . I deserved it. ."

"You didn't. . I really appreciate how much you care about me. . I haven't felt this special in a while actually." She pulls me into a hug, laying my head on her chest while she ran her fingers through my hair softly, "We'll be alright. . we just have to figure this out. . "

"Yeah. . you're right. . how were you able to gain control of your body?"

"I. . . I dunno . . it was like I was stuck, like in a paralysis dream- no- nightmare almost." She shudders before laying her chin on the top of my head, "I was struggling to move, heard his laughs all through my head and I saw him attack you with my own body. . . and I panicked more when he placed the gun to my head. . I fought and fought. . and next thing you know it, I was able to move again, and I shot the ceiling instead. ." She looks up at the ceiling, "Sorry about that . ."

"I could care less about that right now. . I'm just glad that you're okay. ."

"I'm glad that you're okay. . . if he shot you with my body. . . I wouldn't have known what to do with myself. ."

"I wouldn't have known what to do if he shot you. . . I let you go. . "

"Hey, its alright. . we're both alive and breathing, right?"

I nod, she smiles before pulling me in for another small kiss,

"Well then, now that we're done with that we need to figure out a plan. ." Frisk stands up, helping me up as well while we then sat back down at the chairs.

"Wait. . what about him?"

"When I was able to get my body back. . it was kind of freeing. . like his spirit finally went away, but we're not done yet, unfortunately. . ." She explains while rubbing her hands on her thighs, "From what he has told me, he is still. . . alive. . " She took a deep breath, "I feel like the only reason that he truly left was because his body was going to decay without a soul to live in it. . at least, that's how I think it works. ."

"It would seem like it. ." I hum in agreement, ". . . Do you have any idea of when he may come back?"

"Probably when his body recovers. . which may not take long since he kept leaving away so that his body wouldn't decay. ."
