Its like I became a whole shopping mom. Every week or so I leave out to go shopping for food, clothes and needs for the house.

"Yes, Chars. I got the chocolate milk for you. You literally told me about it over a million times before I got here!"

"I just wanted to make sure. Wait- did you get the jug of it?"

"Of course I did. Who buys the little ass jugs of them?"

"Azzy. He said that the chocolate milk is bad for me."

"Well, to a certain extent. . but whatever makes you happy I'll get it for you."

"Aww, thanks bebe."

"Your welcome, corazón ." I smile, picking up the jug of milk and placing it into my cart. "Oh! I forgot to ask, how's Maya?"

"She's doing alright. We just finished our Spanish lesson for today." Chara hums, "but someone called her from her phone. ."

"Someone called her?"

"Yeah, it was like when she looked down to see the contact name she panicked."

"Did you try asking her what it was?"

"Not really, no. . . She seemed so shooked, I didn't want to agitate her. ."

"Aw. . . poor baby. . . Did she want anything from the store?"

"Not that I know of, but if you know some of her favorite snacks then you can get her some."

"Kay'. How about Hanzo and Azzy?"

"They shockingly went shopping together the other day."

"Really?" I gasp, picking up a cute strawberry cow plushie that was on the counter and immediately placed it two of them in the cart.

"Mhm! Azzy told me that Hanzo was kind of skittish when he was around him but they managed to get along and get some groceries."

"Hmm, that's amazing! Their making progress! Proud of them."

"Same here. Oh, also, I read into your notes for the case. ."

"Wha- tuh- you read into my stuff?"

"Why not? Your handwriting is lovely and you wrote some valuable information in here!"

"Shush, you dork. . ." I felt my cheeks turn red, before my eyes caught onto a cute strawberry purse with a cute little face on it, picking it up and into my cart with no hesitation.

"Ah, I'm 'your' dork now."

"What did you want to say, cheeseworth?"

"O-oh, right. You said that you think that this guy has something to do with your grandpa, right?"

"Yeah. . . Seems like peepaw Wart-Dick managed to experiment on another mentally unstable human. . "

"You can say that again. ." He sighs, "but Frisk, you are a genius! Every human who has survived the experiment has been through some sort of trauma before they were experimenting on Wing-"

"Wart-Dick."

". . . Wart-Dick." He corrects himself, clearing his throat, "So far you have a great lead! But I have a small question. . "

"What's up?"

"You never really stated how you survived his experiments. . . Did something happen to you before that?"

No. . . I can't tell him. . .

But what's the point of hiding. . ?

Of course, I'm not gunna vent in a grocery store, but I have to tell him eventually, right?
