^^Lucifer
I was peering down at the demon that Baal was torturing. Baal laughed as his body was painted in the victim's blood. Baal cracked his neck and opened his arms towards me. I held my thumb in the air before pointing it downwards. Baal deviously smiled before slicing through the demon's neck. He picked up the severed head and placed it next to his. He then titled his head with an impish grin.
"Show that to all the demons, so they know to work harder and faster." I sneered.
"At onc-"
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" Lucifer stormed through the door.
"What are you doing in my throne room?" I countered back.
"Your... your throne room?" He scoffed. "It's mine. That's my throne. I allowed you to occupy it to deal with your... to help you cope. But do not think for one second that you command the pla-"
"But I do." I slowly stood. "You're simply obsolete." I gave him a grin that was anything but kind. "But please, continue." I gestured for him to speak.
"Why change the atmosphere and scenic view of the place? And force the demons to forego their preferred appearances?"
"I wanted them to understand how I saw the world." I approached a massive window. "I want the world to burn." I stared ahead.
"You're mad, Addison." I turned at his words. "You're insane and need to be helped. I understand your sadness at the loss of-"
"Don't finish that word, Lucifer." I tsked my tongue and slowly approached him.
"You're commanding me?" His voice held a tone of amusement. "You think you can challenge me?"
"Oh, I know I can." I passed him and opted to stare out another window.
"What are you doing?" He asked in confusion.
"Deciding which door would be best suited for you." I responded, causing him to sneer. "Now, you either get out my way or-"
"You're utterly insane." He scoffed. "But you want demonic from everyone? Okay, how do you like this?" He then transformed into his devil persona. "Is that better? Why don't you show your evil self too?"
"Oh, Lucifer." I shook my head and faced him. "I'm only doing what you're too weak to consider." I sneered. "It's been 2 years since her death and what progress has been made? Nothing. That's the amount of progress. So the demons need to be whipped into line and held accountable."
"What about nearly killing your son?" I watched his shoulders rapidly rise and fall. "My grandson!"
"A casualty." I smiled while he appeared irate.
"You need to be put down."
"What's holding you back from trying?" I clasped my hands behind my back. "Because we both know you'd lose."
"Respect for my daughter. Change this place back and relinquish your hold on-"
"No." I held my hand out and thrusted him back. "You were once the king, but I'm the Queen now." I approached him.
"That's what you think." He threw a punch at me, but I surprised him by catching it and turning his wrist.
"Your compassion makes you weak." I placed a hand on his chest and pushed him to the ground. "Do your job at playing therapist and allow me to do mine." I left him.
I entered a library of sorts and watched as the demons bowed and quickly left me. Good. I ran my fingers across the spines (yep, the spines of the books were made from actual spines) and found one that caught my eye. I flipped through the pages and read about demonic lore. While reading, I felt a presence in the room. I didn't acknowledge Lilith until she addressed me.
