I just wanted to do a quick note before you guys read this. I always encourage comments and welcome criticism because I believe it can make everyone a better writer. One common thing I noticed on The Devil Made Me Do It was that people complained about the graphic bullying scenes. Many had an issue with them and complained or talked negatively about them. The thing is that the previous book was rated M for mature, so those scenes were intended for mature audiences. It was also a book about devils and demonic stuff, so I was surprised to see people upset about darker/ disturbing scenes. In my head, the Devil Made Me Do It series would be the more mature and darker stories in the universe between the 3 books.
Sorry to disappoint everyone, but not all of those scenes came from my "twisted" imagination. I got the inspiration from films and different people's experience with bullying (I looked up personal accounts on the Internet since I've been fortunate to have never been bullied). So some of the disturbing things weren't entirely made up from my imagination. They may have seemed far fetched and disturbing (like the bloodied panties), but some events actually happened to people.
That being said, this is another mature book, so disturbing and mature themes maybe discussed. If the idea makes you uncomfortable, then I suggest not reading. The last thing I wish to do is have someone read something that may be triggering or make them uncomfortable.
Now, I hope my statement doesn't discourage comments because I really enjoy reading them. I have no issue being criticized, but I figured I had to make a statement after all the negative feedback. I didn't want readers to assume I was ignoring their complaints. It was just that I couldn't respond to all of you haha. I took a step back and made an effort to tone down this story, but it's still a lot since this story deals with depression, abuse, harassment, psychopathic tendencies, murder, torture, and more.
Now, I hope I don't discourage people from reading lol. Hope you enjoy the story and thanks for reading my blurb :)
