Addy's POV

After I grabbed Acacia, I thrust her into the cell with Hana. Hana jumped as Acacia fell to the floor. The kitsune then crawled towards the elf to ask if she was alright. I rolled my eyes and sealed the door. The girls cowered at me in fear, which got me off. I needed to finish the preparations, so I left them to find a servant.

I instructed the servant on all the supplies I wished to acquire and told them to hurry. They nodded and swiftly left to complete my requests. I went to the hidden room and accessed the lock. When the archway opened, I stepped inside to retrieve the spell. I carried it to the pavilion where I wished to sacrifice the two to revive the love of my life and absorb unlimited power.

"Your majesty." I rolled my eyes, but turned to find Alabas on her knees.

"What?" I sharply addressed her. "I'm in the middle of-"

"Forgive the interruption, but I figured you would want to be aware of traitors." I raised a brow at her. "I did an investigation to figure out why the scents of the Sangpures and their mates led you far from the castle." She paused. "It was because of Erana."

"Erana?!"

"Yes, she's aiding the opposition to overthrow you." Alabas spoke. "Also, she's helping to free the prisoners as we speak."

My eyes widened and I left the demon to speed to the dungeon. Lo and behold, I found Erana fiddling with the lock on Acacia's chains. Hana screamed and told Erana to run. Erana's eyes widened as they looked at mine. I roared and sped to her. I slammed her into the wall, causing the two to beg me to release her. I'll release her all right!

"Traitor!"

"I'm trying to protect you!"

"You're screwing with me!"

"I'm trying to protect you from yourself!" Erana stated. "The power you would obtain would be too much. Your body wouldn't be able to properly contain it! You could burst!"

"I'll burst you!" I began crushing her skull with my mind.

"Please!" Hana screamed.

"Spare her!" Acacia added. "You have us!"

"Let her be!" Hana pleaded.

"She's Kiki's best friend!" I halted at Acacia's words. "Spare her for Kiki."

I continued staring daggers at Erana as blood poured out her nose and ears. I decided to heed Acacia's request and spare Erana for Kiki. I dragged Erana away as the girls shook the cell door and called after us. I dragged her to a remote cell and thrust her inside. Her hands were on the floor as she tiredly stared at me.

"I thought you would be by my side."

"I can't let you go through with this. That would be the ultimate act of severing your ties with humanity and your friends." Erana stated. "I can't stand by and watch you ruin yourself."

"Then, you can rot in here until I'm done. I will provide proper punishment for you... a severed head." I sneered.

"Do as you wish, but I'm going to stop you as best as I can."

"By doing what? Your best bets are stuck in the Hell loops and you're trapped here. You can't... you're not working alone." I smirked while she gulped. "Who else is under your influence?" I mused.

I stepped back and closed my eyes. Erana's shouts were drowned out as I focused my omnipotent power and mentally watched what transpired in my realm. I mentally rewinded time until I spotted Erana, Gad, and Baalam discussing how to stop the ritual. I then opened my eyes to see Erana's terrified expression.
