^^Zena

Zena's POV

The moment we stepped into Hell, the four of us coughed like crazy. The air was putrid and burned our lungs. Acacia was hacking away, so I held her arms and tried to steady her, but she was struggling to breathe. Eris collapsed, so Yeira sped to catch her. We allowed the elves to momentarily rest until their lungs got used to this acidic air.

"Sulfur." Yeira and I spoke at the same time. I glared at her, making her roll her eyes. "She changed the air here." I looked around and saw fiery mist raining down.

"Where's Hana?" Eris coughed.

"Probably in the dungeons." Yeira assisted her. "But, you're not needed here." We all looked at her wearily. "I need you to get a message out to our parents. Tell them we're in hell." Yeira then handed Eris a pocket portal. "Go back in the maze and you'll be in the dark realm, then you can teleport to the human realm."

"Ok-"

"No way!" I butted myself into the conversation. "You dragged Acacia into this mess, so Eris stays!" I demanded.

"We need backup." Yeira faced me.

"You didn't think about that when you kidnapped my wife." I sneered.

"Ya, it just came to me." She sarcastically spoke. "You not letting Eris get help will decrease the survival rate of your wife." Yeira stood. "Is that what you want?" She snapped.

"You're choosing who you'll protect and who will die!" I grabbed her collar.

"Zena, please." Acacia touched my arm. "Don't fight."

"It's shocking that Zena's the one with the anger management problem. Thought that was Yeira." Eris chuckled.

I knew she was only emboldened because Yeira was here. Otherwise, she'd have kept her opinions to herself. I lowly growled, making her instinctively move closer to Yeira. Yeira sighed before facing Eris and going over the plan. I crossed my arms as I stared at the floating castle in the very distance. I heard Acacia and Eris speak to each other as they bid goodbye. I looked over my shoulder to see Eris hugging Yeira and wishing her luck.

Eris walked to the entrance and then stopped as a sudden thought occurred to her. I faced forward as I heard her telling Yeira something about sang familial. I rolled my eyes and pushed myself off the wall. I walked towards the castle and knew that the others would eventually catch up.

"Why didn't you tell me you were suffering from sang familial?!" Yeira grabbed my shoulder to turn me around. "It's dangerous for you to be-"

"Fuck off!" I shoved her back. "Don't touch me!"

"That's why you're like this." Yeira muttered. "Zena, you shouldn't be around Aca-" I punched her to stop her from completing that sentence.

"Watch your mouth! You don't command me!"

"What day is it?" Yeira frantically asked Acacia. "When's our birthday?"

"Why?" Acacia looked between us.

"Sang familial. If she doesn't practice it, then she'll turn into a rabid beast. That's why she's so angry and aggressive and irritable. You need to go home and-"

"I'm not going home without Acacia!" I grabbed her by the throat. "But, maybe I want to kill you before I leave."

"Zena, no!" Acacia screamed, so I punched her down.

Acacia held her face in pain while my murderous gaze was locked on Yeira. Yeira stared at me in disbelief, but I didn't care. Yeria broke my hold and kicked me down. I flashed to her, but she roared at me and showed me what I did. I didn't care, so Yeria kicked me back down and forced me to look at a fearful Acacia. My eyes softened and a look of horror crossed my face. Yeria then lifted me back up and shoved me away.
