Zena's POV

I scrolled through my phone while waiting for Acacia to get ready. She finally opened the door to show me her long, flowy dress. A stupid grin made its way to my face as I handed her flowers. Acacia smiled as she sniffed them. She then gave me a sweet kiss and placed them in a vase before interlocking our fingers.

Finn and Kai were impatiently waiting for Eris to be ready. Finn flung his head back and groaned, so Hailey started making out with him. He seemed to encourage the distraction while Kai begged Eris to hurry up. Eris came out and held up two lipglosses, prompting Kai to groan even more.

"Hey, Z." I hummed at Acacia. "Why don't you invite Hana to the beach with us?"

"Okay."

"It's going to be a long wait anyways."

"Want to come with me?" She nodded and left the room with me.

The two of us chatted while walking down the halls. We got to my shared dorm room and opened it to see the room empty. That's really weird. Maybe, she went to the mansion? I shrugged and had Acacia follow me to the mansion. I was shocked again to find only Maman there. She was researching stuff about Geneve and hadn't seen Yeira or Hana. We gave her a look, but decided to continue our search for Hana.

By this time, Kai had texted to say Eris had finished. Acacia and I were now on a mission to find Hana, so we told them that we'd meet them at the beach. Acacia told me that Hana loved the dojo, so we journeyed there, but didn't find her. We then went to the arcade, but couldn't find her. Where'd she go?

As we were aimlessly wandering the halls, we ran into Lexi. I figured Lexi wouldn't know, but a part of me decided to ask her. I stopped and dragged Acacia back.

"Lexi?" She whipped around to me. "Where's- Lexi, are you alright?" I noticed her watery eyes.

"No."

"What happened?" I dropped Acacia's hand and hugged the girl.

"It's..." She began crying. "Yeira."

"What happened?" My eyes widened. "Is she safe? Hurt? Where-"

"She's hurt." Lexi looked down. "She just returned, so I sent Mia to her. Hana... she-"

"Don't tell me she's dead." Acacia worriedly said.

"No, she's fine. It's just that Hana left." Our eyes widened. "She dumped Yeira."

"Oh my god." Acacia whispered. "I didn't think she'd actually do it."

"Neither did Yeira." Lexi breathed out.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"On the hill, overlooking the ocean." Lexi looked down.

"Umm... Aqua, I'll meet you at the beach. Okay?" She nodded and reluctantly left me. "I'll talk to her." Lexi sadly nodded at me.

I then flitted around the school until I arrived at the bottom of the hill. Mum was seated next to Yeira and had her arms wrapped around the tribrid. Yeira stared at her hands and quietly spoke to mum. Mum kissed her temple and stood. Mum caught my eyes and told Yeira that she'd be back in a few. Yeira sadly nodded as mum approached me.

Mum took a deep breath and looked at me. I nodded and hiked up the steep hill. I silently sat next to Yeira and placed a hand on her shoulder. Yeira raised her hand and cupped mine.

"You shouldn't be comforting me. I did the unimaginable." She stared at the ocean. "You should hate me."

"It's hard to hate you for long periods of time." I slightly smiled, but she was still sad. "You're my sister. My twin if we're being accurate. We argue more than we hug, but you're a part of me."
