Yeira's POV

After Zena and I finished off the army of the undead, we shared a glance. We then gasped at smelling a familiar scents of blood. Zena and I raced out the room and followed the scents of our mates. Addy clearly didn't want us interrupting whatever the hell she as doing since she had guards battle us. Zena used her magic to destroy about half of them while I mutilated the rest.

"Jeez." Zena's eyes widened at what I did.

"Addison better hope not a hair is harmed on Hana's body." I crushed a skull in my hand.

"Unfortunately, that blood isn't just Acacia's."

We continued down the hall until we got to a set of double doors. I sprinted to them and tried opening them, but they were sealed shut. Zena told me to move before blasting a beam of energy at the door. We were dumbstruck as to what was going on. I flitted to Zena and told her to do something better. Zena yelled at me and said she was trying her best.

"I have an idea." I touched Zena's shoulder. "Work with me. Neither of us can open it by ourselves."

Zena slowly nodded at me and mimicked my transformation. Our tribrid faces winked at each other before rushing the door. We stumbled into the outside pavilion and gasped at the sight before us.

Addy had organized some kind of complex ritual, where a pentagon was drawn on the ground. Hana and Acacia were spread out, so that they'd be equidistant from Kiki's body. Addison stood in the center with her hands raised and a massive ball of energy swirling around the perimeter. Acacia and Hana's body would flinch every so often, but it was like they were statues. They couldn't move, but could see every horrific thing happening.

Zena gripped my arm in fear at seeing the arteries on our mates severed. Their blood flowed from their veins and onto the boundary lines of the pentagram. The blood flowed towards Kiki's body and pooled around her. Zena screamed as Acacia and Hana's heart simultaneously stopped beating. Addy wasted no time in casting her spell as I sprinted towards her.

Just as Addy finished her spell and touched the ground, I jumped in the air and kicked her out the boundary. Addy slammed into the wall while I landed in an attacking position. Zena raced to Acacia and pressed her hand to the elf's chest. She channeled a wave of electricity and shocked the elf awake. Zena then looked at Hana and shot a wave of electricity that brought her back to life. Zena bit her wrist and fed Acacia blood before speeding to Hana to do the same.

"You ruined it!" Addy screamed and used magic to fling me away.

"No, you ruined it!" I shot up. "You shut borders and blame others for not assisting, but how could anyone assist?!" I countered. "You think that everyone must drop what they were doing because you were hurt. Well, join the bloody party, mate! Many died! Many, many lives! She wasn't the only one who perished during the fight! If you want someone to hate, then blame Lilitu!"

"Shut up!" Addy screamed.

"Ya, Yeira! Shut up!" Zena shouted.

"No, I'm not protecting her little feelings anymore! I'm telling her the damn truth! I went to find my girl and then had the intention of helping with the Kiki search! I didn't want her to die! I thought I would've saved her by telling people about the blade, but I was too fucking late! Zena spent her entire days searching for Kiki! She spent sleepless nights searching, but came up with nothing! But did she give up, no! My parents were trapped in a different realm after being on the run, but they had all the intentions of helping you! Did you know that?! No, you didn't because you spent your days shut off from the world and blaming the world for you problems!"
