^^Yeira
Yeira's POV
Acacia's screams were cut off by her gargling on her blood. I patiently waited until I sensed confusion and fear from the people downstairs. It didn't take long for Acacia to be on the verge of dying. I cut her at a position where she wouldn't be living for much longer. By the time the people downstairs got out of their daze, I picked up Acacia's almost dead body. Footsteps sounded on the stairs by the time I crushed the pocket portal. Zena flew through the door as I saluted her and the portal closed. Her eyes widened and she screamed while outstretching her hand towards Acacia.
The portal completely closed on the outskirts of a rundown wasteland. I laid Acacia on the dirt and bit my wrist. I allowed my blood to drip into her mouth while applying pressure on her throat to stop the bleeding. Acacia gladly gulped down the blood, causing her wound to slowly close. I knew her body would be exhausted after the stress I put her through, so I picked her up and carried her to the local hospital.
The place looked rundown and there were barely any staffers. Well, at least there isn't a wait line. I approached the secretary, who eerily smiled before directing me to a room. I laid Acacia down and explained that she'd need fluids and any forms of nutrition. The nurse just creepily nodded and left to retrieve the materials. I took my chances and glanced Acacia's way to find her sweaty. I furrowed my brows, but didn't detect any poison in her body, so it must just be from stress.
"Hello." I turned to see a doctor enter. He had that same off putting smile. "We will take care of your friend."
"Thanks."
"We recommend waiting outside." He calmly spoke.
"Alright. Take care of her." He nodded as I left her room.
I walked out of the hospital and pulled out my phone. I ignored the people passing me and walked across the street. I dialed a number that was bound to pick up. Unfortunately, the line didn't go through. Ah, yes! Hiro had slipped Lexi an adapter that allows calls to be made in any realm as long as the other person has a working phone. I placed the adapter on and called Dr. Linda.
Yeira! Hi! What have you-
The world has gone to shit, Dr. Linda. I sighed.
Yeira, what's wrong?
After we saved Inari, Lexi came back to inform me that my parents were in trouble. I left and, with Zena's help and freed them.
That's great! Amazing job, Yeira! And how's Hana? I sniffled at her question. Yeira, what happened?
She was taken by a friend of Zena's. I looked down. I'm trying to save her.
Yeira, what did you do?
Addison took Hana. Dr. Linda gasped at my words. And she sought me out and brokered a deal with me. She'd give me back Hana if I gave her Acacia's corpse.
Yeira, no. Please-
I attempted to kill Acacia. I stared at her as she slowly died, but... but, I couldn't go through with it. I had to save her. I teleported us to a place in the dark realm since Addison would've detected our auras in her realm if we went to Hell. I couldn't take Acacia there if I wanted to save her.
Yeira-
I'm spiraling back down, Dr. Linda. I sat on the ground. I'm supposed to be better. I know. But, I was willing to kill my sister's happiness for my own. Tears lined my eyes. Just the thought of not having my way made me go down a sinister path. I... I stopped and furrowed my brows.
