^^Addy

Addy's POV

My legs were pulled up underneath my chin. I looked out the window to observe the demons leaving Hell. The ones who were forced here quickly left while the ones who resided here debated on if they should leave or not. I heard my door open, so I turned to see Erana. I looked down and heavily sighed.

"There are no words to properly describe how sorry I am." I lifted my head. "I harmed you in so many ways. I'm so sorry. Don't worry, I hate myself too." I whimpered.

"I don't hate you." She sat on my bed and touched my arm. "There's just so much pain inside you. You snapped."

"How do you not hate me?"

"There have been so many civil wars here that no one holds a grudge anymore." She laughed. "No one holds anything against you. After several assassination attempts and coups, we get over it the next day. If you noticed, Gad and Gello treat you the same and you almost killed them on several occasions." I winced at that. "Now, for the others... we can only take them at their word."

"I essentially destroyed Blake."

"Gello has sent him to a rehab center for troubled youth. Gad has volunteered to watch over him, so that we can avoid any murders." I shivered at that. "He's getting the help he needs."

"Lucifer-"

"He's fine!" Erana waved her hand. "After a round of scotch, he was dope. He's gone back to playing therapist."

"Lilith-"

"She never liked you anyways, so..." We laughed at that. "And Baal doesn't care. He's more interested in torturing people and Alabas is more interested in staring at her reflection. No one really cares anymore. Everyone moved on."

"Our subjects-"

"Are looking for an opportunity to escape their sentences and Baal is cracking down on them. You're gucci." Erana sat back and smiled. "Hey, we're all good, so smile a little."

"Okay." I forced one. "Poor Zeli."

"She's fine." Erana rolled her eyes. "She needs to just rub some dirt on her bruise and toughen up. She'll be fine."

"I want you to see Ash." She raised a brow at me. "I've kept you from him for so long, so I want you to see him. Okay?"

"Okay." Erana softly smiled at me. "Call me if you need me. I'll be there." She hugged me. "Are you alright, Addy?"

"I will be, but I'm not sure about my friends. I don't even know if they still consider me their friend." I silently cried.

"Hey, you're alright. They forgive you. It's okay. Everyone understands and forgives you. You're not alone. Okay?"

"Okay."

Erana stayed with me for a few more minutes before standing. She stated that she instructed the staff and others to leave me alone. I thanked her for her thoughtfulness and waved her off. Erana jumped out the window and flew in the direction of the border.

I held my hand out and commanded the ghost plushie to me. I squeezed it tight and brought it to my chest. I slowly breathed out while staring out the window. I'm not sure how long I'd been staring outside, but I heard a knock on the door. I assume it's dinner time and heard the door open.

"Thank you. I'll eat it soon." I continued staring out the window. I didn't hear the person leave, so I simply sighed. "Sorry, it's been a long day. Thank you, Baalam." I heard a chuckle different from Baal's, so I furrowed my brows.

"Hello, gorgeous."

I turned around and felt my heart drop and the tears fall. I couldn't move or scream nor react. I was frozen in place while I stared at her. She cockily smirked back and crossed her arms.

"I'm baaaaaack." She said in a sing-song voice. "I love you and you look ravishing, criminal."

"Ki-Kiki." My voice broke.

"What'd I miss, gorgeous?!" She smirked.
