^^Eris

Zena's POV

It took a lot of attitude, but my family eventually allowed me privacy. I went to a remote part of the school and hung up silver blocks. I stepped back and punched it. I hissed as the silver burned me and my bones cracked. I repeated the action until my hand became bloody and mangled. I then moved to my left hand and punched until I shattered every bone.

"That's a bit sadistic." I turned to see Eris approach.

"Go away." I held my broken wrist up and watched it slowly heal.

"Why are you inflicting pain on yourself?" She crossed her arms.

"You know why." I punched my hand again before it could heal.

"Doing this won't bring her back."

"And neither will sitting here and doing nothing!" I snapped.

"Your parents are right... you do need someone to talk to." She muttered while I rolled my eyes. "Listen, what Yeira did was fucked up-"

"Don't mention that wretched name around me." I got in her face.

"Jeez, okay." Eris softly pushed me back. "Can you at least tell me what you hope to get out of hurting yourself?"

"I want to feel something else for once. My heart just bleeds for Acacia and I need to feel something else." I looked down and sniffled. "You wouldn't understand." I whispered.

"I actually do." Eris muttered. "But... your family is already thinking of ways to save her, so-"

"So nothing! They're slow and Yeira's gone! She needs to pay for what she did!"

"With time." Eris humorlessly chuckled.

"If I could, I'd have gone to Hell and retrieved her. But I can't because Addy closed the borders!"

"Why don't you just go through the dark realm?" Eris questioned.

"Did you not hear me say-"

"There's a supposed labyrinth in the dark realm that connects it to Hell. I'd be surprised if they managed to shut that entrance since it's incredibly hard to find. It camouflages itself really well." Eris chuckled, but noticed I wasn't laughing. "What?"

"Where is it?" I flopped my arms to my side.

"I don't know. Somewhere in the dark realm. I think it's in the southeastern part because of where the border to Hell is... why?"

"Because we're going." I walked past her.

"We're what now?!"

"We're going." Kimbra spoke through me. "Let's go." Now, it was Sloane to roughly grip Eris' arm. "Problem?" It was now me.

"Why not Hailey?" Eris used all her strength not to stutter.

"Because she's so far up my maman's ass. Let's go." I demanded and shoved her forward.

"I should've just kept my thoughts to myself." Eris muttered, forcing me to stop and shove her against a wall.

"Your sister was taken and you don't give a shit?!"

"I don't think it's a smart idea to enter the dark realm with the expectation of crossing into Hell. Addison is a danger and I don't want to die prematurely."

"You're pathetic!" I punched the spot next to her head. "You're an embarrassment to the Jorgensen name!"

"Watch it!" Eris stepped to me, so I roughly shoved her into the wall. "Ow." She softly spoke.
