^^Baalam

Yeira's POV

I took a deep breath as my heart was racing. I stared at the ground since I didn't feel Acacia here anymore. I was truly all alone and slightly scared. I slowly sat up and looked around a metal floor. I slapped it and heard the sound reverberate through the corridor. With a shaky breath, I slowly stood.

I hesitantly turned the corner, but saw no one. I heard water dripping onto the floor and gulped. I was nervous about what I would find since I had no clue what else awaited me. I turned a corner and noticed figures contort out of the shadows. I raised my fists since I'm not scared of anyone. I raced forward and socked a guy down. Darkness shot out and wrapped itself around my limbs.

I struggled as I was subdued and confined to a chair. The darkness binded my hands and ankles to the point I couldn't move. I tried rocking in the chair, but it was screwed to the ground. The figures left me as the dimly lit room began to lighten. I looked forward and gasped at the sight before me.

In the cell lay an injured Hana. I whimpered and struggled even more, but to no avail. She was stark naked as another figure approached her. I yelled at the figure to stop, but it kept advancing. I threatened to kill it, but it paid me no mind. Hana woke and fearfully stared at the axe. I shouted at her to run, but there was only so far she could move in that confined space.

The figure pulled Hana up by the hair and began hacking away at her. Tears rushed down my face as I screamed. My screams were drowned out by Hana's shrieks as the meat from her bones were severed off. I wailed and begged the figure to have mercy on Hana. The figure turned to me and I flinched.

My mouth was agape as the figure walked closer to the cell doors. We were a few inches apart and I could see its features clearly. The pale skin, light freckles, and bottle green eyes. I stared at my smirking self. I screamed as my demonic self approached Hana and grabbed her by the throat.

I then repeatedly slammed her down and mauled her. Hana cried as I would bite along her body and inject poison into her. I shook in my chair as I stared at the demon plunging its claws into Hana. Hana stiffened as I clawed along her body and mutilated it. I shrieked at seeing the demon claw out my name on Hana's body.

The demon then dragged Hana to a tub of water and shoved her head underneath. I kicked and struggled to free myself to save Hana. I cried since I was absolutely helpless to help Hana. She was being tortured and in so much pain. I'm sorry, Hana. I'm doing this to you.

"No, you're not." I turned at the voice.

I scrunched my brows since I didn't know who this guy was. He decorated a red Mohawk and black eyeliner. His shirt was open so you could see his fit chest. The guy knelt next to me, so he could stare at me.

"Who are you?" I demanded. "Another demon come to laugh at the torture?!"

"I'm Baalam." I stiffened since I knew that name. "Kikimora's brother."

"Why are you here?"

"To help you get out of here." Baalam spoke. "A ritual is being prepped to sacrifice your and your sister's mate. We need to free you if you're to save them."

"Why are you helping me?"

"Because if Addison kills them, she'll be unstoppable." Baalam seriously spoke.

"Free me!" I demanded.

"I can't."

"What do you mean you can't?!" I shouted.

"This is your own guilt. You have to free yourself and then save her. I can only guide you."

"You're indeed useless!"

"Maybe so, but are you going to argue with me or save your mate?" He glared.

"I can't free myself!"

"Try harder!" Baalam shouted.

"I am, but I can't free myself." I looked down. "I'm too weak."

Baalam sighed and stared at me in irritation. I felt my thoughts bombard me and my past actions haunted me. I stared as my figure defiled Hana as I helplessly watched. I may have never explicitly done those actions to her, but I emotionally did. She was hurt and abused by my hand. My biggest regret and mistake was harming Hana. I hate myself for it.

"You were close to my brother." I glanced at him. "Radna adored you and thought of you as an ally and friend."

"Rad-"

"Addison killed him when he returned. She blamed him for producing the blade that killed Kikimora." Baalam explained. "My brother was contrite, but it didn't matter. He also could've thrown you under the bus, but he didn't. Addison murdered him before she was truly lost to the darkness. Imagine what she will do when she has the power from killing Acacia and Hana. You need to stop her."

"I..." I stared at the scene of Hana crying. "I'll save my girl."

Baalam smirked as my eyes flashed black. I then rocked the chair around until I heard the legs begging to snap. I did it harder until the chair broke. I managed to get on my knees and throw myself onto my back. The chair broke from underneath me and I used the opportunity to completely free myself.

I sprinted to the cell and winced from the silver bars. I held onto them and beared the pain. If Hana would suffer, then I'd suffer even more. Baalam whizzed to my side and shouted at me to fight through it. He told me to save her and not give up. He told me not to be weak. I growled and showed him my tribrid eyes. I then roared and tore the door off.

Baalam squeaked since I flung him and the door away. I raced to my demon self and destroyed her. My shoulders rapidly rose and fell while I glanced at Hana. Hana's hand slowly lifted, so I grabbed it. I squeezed it tight as she disintegrated into the air. I turned to see Baalam rubbing his bruised back.

"What now?"

"We leave." Baalam looked around. "See a door that's burning bright or like a beacon of some kind?"

"Does it look like I know?" I shook my head. "I freed Hana, so... I looked around the dungeon. This is modeled after your castle, so tell me where's the exit?"

"I actually am not sure, but we're running out of time."

"That's not helpful at all. Radna was at least a bit helpful." I jabbed.

"Well, I'm not crafty like my brother! I was more the war and rampage type." Baalam argued.

"Hmm... you're kind of like him though." I crossed my arms.

"How so?" He tilted his head.

"We argue a lot." I chuckled. "So you can't exactly tell me where to go, but can guide me." He nodded. "So I subconsciously choose where the exit is. Where would I... I know where to go! Come, Baalam!"

"You can call me Baal!" He screamed while running after me. "Where are we going?"

"To a place that made me incredibly happy!"

Baal kept up with me as we ran out the castle and the scene changed to England. We came to halt to avoid being run over by the cows. I grabbed Baal's hand and directed him towards a cottage house. We entered the house that my family occupied while we were on the run from the angels. This is where I truly felt like I belonged.

I ran to my bedroom and opened the closet door. Baal and I stared at Hell on the other side. He smirked and gestured for me to step through first. Baal jumped through after and gave me two thumbs up.

"Now, let's hope Gad got your sister." I nodded and ran after him.
