"Where are we going?" Erana inquired when we were a safe distance from any danger.
"We're going to use a different approach." I thought of a different outcome to Kiki dying. "Let's go!" I grabbed a hold of Zeli.
We then spit back in time where we could see the massive destruction of the light realm. I glanced at the watch on Erana's hand to see that we had a little time. I was going to prevent my past self from joining the fight. Since I was so arrogant and challenged Lilitu one on one, there wasn't any backup. Hopefully this time, she'll be defeated without it costing Kiki's life.
I spotted the grass becoming dull and smirked. I pushed the two into the shrubbery and told them to stay down. I then awaited for my past self to arrive. My past self floated towards the gate, so I raced and tackled her. She threw me off and snarled at me. However, the rest of her snarl got caught in her throat.
"Something amiss?" I smirked.
"Who are you?" She asked instead.
"Your future if you continue."
I then attacked and fought her. She put a good fight since she was me. Unfortunately for her, I knew all her moves and how to counter them. Plus, I had a few new skills that she struggled to adapt to. I smirked as I knocked her out.
"She's down." I walked towards the two. "Now, let's see how this reality will turn out."
I waved my hand and watched the scene change to a dystopian type land. My jaw dropped as I watched demonic beings fly overhead while attacking any form of life. Erana dragged me down to avoid being bpasted. We crawled into an abandoned car for shelter. What the hell happened?!
"Look." Zeli nudged her head at a gravestone.
I gasped at seeing the headstone read for Zena's name. Another read for Ken and... and Kiki. I ducked as an explosion went off a few yards from us. We could hear humans screaming as demons would either snatch them up or eat them alive. This reality is crazy.
"I'm assuming she's the supreme leader." Erana pointed at a projection of Overlord Lilitu. "She must've taken over the other realms as well."
"We should leave." Zeli stated.
I nodded and thought of a different outcome to change. Zeli and Erana gabbed onto me as I thought about the first time Kiki and I locked eyes. We soon transported to the fairgrounds. People bumped into us while running to the rides.
"I remember this." Erana smiled at the memory. "This is where we met you for the first time. And you told Kiki that we couldn't steal that boy's Oreos." Erana chuckled at the memory.
"I'm going to make it so we never meet." Her breath hitched at my words. "She'll be alive."
"Ya, but what about you?" Zeli questioned. "She won't know you."
"If it's fate, we'll meet eventually." I sighed.
I soon spotted myself with Jeremy. I halted my movements because I haven't seen him in a while and I really missed him. I wonder how he is doing and if he met anyone special. How's Candice doing? His mom? Dad? I began to feel nostalgic about my best friend. I hope he's happy and enjoying all life has to offer.
"Addy? You good?" Erana touched my arm.
"Yes." I watched my past self head to the table.
I then looked around and saw past Erana and Kiki approaching. They stopped and glanced at each other before looking around them. I looked to Erana, but Zeli explained that they probably caught our auras and are wondering where they're coming from. I didn't want to screw this up, so I created a mini wind storm. My past self cowered underneath the pavilion as Jeremy raced towards her. They chatted before leaving the fairground.
