"Hey, Hanz. It's been almost a year of being away from her, hindi ka ba nakuryuso kung ano na ang ganap sa taong mahal mo ngayon?" Tanong ni Zeke kay Hanz habang nasa labas pa sila ng E.H.U Main Hall kung saan ginanap ang graduation ceremony nila.

Actually, Zeke was just there to bother him around. He finished his studies a year ago and become a freewill wealthy man without work because his money work for him in every single hour to days.

Hindi sinagot ni Hanz ang kakulitan ni Zeke at pumasok na sa loob ng hall dahil magsisimula na ang seremonya. Sa loob ng isang taon na hindi nakita si Elaine ay hindi niya ramdam ang buhay. He's lonely yet need to encourage himself to continue. Pero kahit na kuryuso siya at gustong alamin ang mga ginagawa o ang situwasyon nito ngayon.. He just can't.

Ayaw niya muna sapagkat wala pa siyang nakikitang butas na maaari niyang ilaban para sa kanila ng dalaga. That something's off feeling of his was still anonymous. He had been tailing his parents and her parents around to leech some issues. But he found none.

"Hanz!" Skye did call him. May kasama itong mga babae na sa tingin niya ay mga kaibigan at kapamilya nito.

"Skye" his tone was just average. Enough to be heard and appreciate the attention he gave.

"I haven't seen Elaine, nasaan na siya? Hindi na ba siya nag aaral?" Skye asked simultaneously. ]

"She went to Paris, her parents has sent her there to continue her studies."

Nagulat naman si Skye, "Oh..." at napatango-tango kalaunan. "Did she say something to you?" tanong na naman nito. And Hanz was confused to her such a question from Skye. Did he miss something?

"No, is there anything need to be discussed?"

She chuckled. "Well, the day before we broke up at our monthsary... ay nagkausap kami. I told her the truth about what I have noticed from you during the days that our relationship was still on. Sinabi ko lang naman na siya ang hinahanap mo sa tuwing magkasama tayo, and such. I never knew na after no'n ay aalis pala siya. What happened?" but then after explaining her side... ay na kuryuso din ng magtagal.

"Skye, the ceremony's bound to start." A woman in her forty's said to Skye habang papalapit sa kanila.

Napalingon si Hanz sa gawi nito at sa hindi alam na kadahilanan ay para siyang napako sa kinatatayuan. "Elaine..." and mumbled his ex lover's name.

Napahalakhak si Skye sa naging reaction niya. "She's not Elaine, Hanz. She is my mother." At doon lang nahanapan ng difference ni Hanz ang postura nito at ang postura ni Elaine. Skye's mom was basically looking young despite her age. But even though she appears young, her height, and skin differs. May kulobot na sa balat nito, signs of may katandaan na ito. And it's voice was low and mature unlike Elaine's cute and baby voice.

"Don't worry, hindi lang din naman ikaw ang nagulat. Actually, ako din. Noong first day of school at nakita ko si Elaine ay napagkamalan ko rin siyang si mommy." Umuklo si Skye sa kanya para bumulong. Na excite pa nga ito sa sasabihin, "I was dating and clinging with the other guy before when she got off of your car and startled me." Tiyaka ito dumistansya pagkatapos.

"Who is Elaine?" tanong ng mother ni Skye sa kanilang dalawa. Her eyes were changing channels from him to her and her to him. Completely confused and it can be defined on her face.

Skye clung unto her mother's arm, "Do you remember the person I was telling you that has the same features with you mom? It was, Elaine. My schoolmate and his..." Skye's eyes were a tease upon giving him a glimpse. "Best friend, and he is Hanz Hernandez one of the heir candidates of Hernandez's corporation. Hanz, this is my mother. Stiffy Collins."
