𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐊 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐔𝐍 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 for Thea, she had just hoped that the van would've lasted a bit longer. The damn thing ran out of gas two days ago and it was back to walking from there. Judith hadn't been giving much problem lately, but Thea's almost out of formula for her. Back at the prison they had started testing Judith on soft foods, so if it came down to it, Thea had a can of ravioli in her backpack that she could probably make work.
Major let out a bark, making Thea look around only to see no danger in sight. "What is it boy?" She asked confused.
Almost like that last day with Kenny, a herd of walkers emerged from the treeline. "Oh, man." The girl muttered, starting to sprint further down the road. Of course they couldn't have one peaceful day.
"𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄?" Beth quietly asked, readjusting Daryl's crossbow in her hands.
"Almost done." Was the Dixon man's response.
"How do you know?" The blonde asked.
"The signs are all there. Just got to know how to read 'em." Daryl responded as the three began to walk.
"What are we tracking?" Syd asked, looking at the tracks.
"You tell me." Daryl shrugged. Syd and Beth look back at him. "You're the ones that wanted to learn."
Syd looked back at the ground and narrowed her eyes. "Well, whatever it is came through here." She pointed out.
"The pattern is all zig-zaggy." Beth added, tilting her head. The girls looked at each other and smile.
"Its a walker." The two said, proud of themselves.
"Maybe it's a drunk." Daryl shrugged.
"We're getting good at this. Pretty soon we won't need you at all." Beth told him.
Daryl hummed. "Yeah, keep on tracking." He nodded for them to continue on.
They soon reached a clearing to see walker on it's knee's eating something. "It's got a gun." Beth pointed out the gun in the walker's back pocket.
Sydney and Daryl stood back as the blonde walked forward. She didn't get far though, when she stepped down on an animal trap and it closed around her ankle. She fell to the ground, drawing the walker's attention.
Sydney's eyes widened and she took off running towards the blonde with Daryl hot on her heels. While the brunette teen dropped to her knees beside her friend, Daryl snatched his crossbow put of Beth's hand and went to deal with the walker.
