𝖳𝗁𝖾 𝗇𝖾𝗑𝗍 𝗆𝗈𝗋𝗇𝗂𝗇𝗀, Carol woke Thea up early when it was time to go. The girl did one last sweep of her house, making sure she got everything she wanted to take before she followed Carol and Daryl out. She locked the door back and put the key back under the plant and that was that.
They walked for what felt like forever and then for whatever reason, Daryl and Carol started sprinting down the sidewalk. Thea jogged to keep up with them, her leg didn't much like that strain but the pain wasn't unbearable.
She stopped and pressed her back against the wall of a building when Carol and Daryl did. The sound of the dead snarling came from somewhere around the corner.
Daryl leaned around the wall to take a look. "Alright, we can get up there." He looked back at the two. "There's a bridge."
He placed his bag on the ground and puller a notebook out and a lighter. He lit the book on fire before throwing it across the road for the walkers.
While the walkers were distracted the three rounded the corner into the parking garage.
Daryl fired an arrow into a walker that was up the little hill past the red and white gaurd rail arm thing — Thea wasn't gonna lie, she had the slightest clue what those things were called.
Eventually the three survivors reached a door. Daryl entered first with Carol being the last one into the hallway.
The hall was full of walkers trapped in sleeping bags and a few tents as well.
Thea pulled out her new knife and stepped over one of the sleeping bag walkers. She stabbed it under the chin as Daryl and Carol took care of the other sleeping bags.
She wiped her knife off on the sleeping bag before moving ahead.
The tents rattle as walkers growled inside them, but they were trapped so they were no danger to the three passing through.
"Some days, I don't know what the hell to think." Daryl muttered as they continued to the door at the end of the hall.
Daryl tugged on the door but it only opened slightly due to it being chained and locked on the other side. Carol looked through the gap and when she saw no danger she turned to Thea.
"Thea, you go first." She told the girl.
Thea nodded in response as she slipped her bag off her shoulders. She shoved it through the gap, before bending down and twisting her body so she could fit through the gap.
Carol followed behind and then Daryl shoved his arm through the gap, holding his crossbow for one of them to take.
Thea grabbed it and held it for him until he squeezed through. "Good thing we skipped breakfast." He muttered, pulling himself through.
Thea gave Daryl his crossbow back as the three continued to walk. They soon reacheda set of doors. Daryl twists the knob and the door slowly opens. He whistled telling Carol and Thea that they could come in. The two follow him in.
