People die, they leave, they lie... But most importantly people change. Those things are the things that Thea Thomas is forced to realize after the world goes to shit.

𝖬𝗈𝗌𝗍 𝗈𝖿 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗀𝗋𝗈𝗎𝗉 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝖺𝗐𝖺𝗄𝖾 now. Thea had showed Glenn the picture of him and Major. He was shocked to say the least. But it was funny regardless.
"Hey." Maggie spoke, opening the barn doors. Her and Sasha went out that morning. "Everyone. . . This is Aaron."
A man walked in with her and Sasha. "We met him outside. He's by himself." Maggie added. "We took his weapons and we took his gear."
Daryl pat down Aaron. It was silent for a minute. Most of the others had their guns out, trained on Aaron. Thea doesn't only because she figured the five hundred other guns pointed at him was enough, plus she's down to her last few bullets.
"Hi." Aaron smiled warmly and Judith starts crying. Rick handed her to Carl.
"It's nice to meet you." Aaron went to walk forward but stopped when everyone got ready to attack.
"You said he had a weapon?" Rick asked and Maggie walked over, handing him Aaron's gun. "There something you need?"
"He has a camp nearby." Sasha informed. "He wants us to audition for membership."
Audition? Thea raised a brow. That wasn't weird at all.
"I wish there was another word. Audition makes it sound like we're some kind of a dance troupe." Aaron cringed.
"Are you?" Syd asked, shaking her head.
Aaron glanced at her with a tight smile. "O-only on Friday nights." Seeing as nobody said anything Aaron shook his head. "Um, and it's not a camp. It's a community. I think you all would make valuable additions. But its not my call. My job is to convince you all to follow me back home." He paused "I know. If I were you, I wouldn't go either. Not until I knew exactly what I was getting into."
The man then looked back at Sasha. "Sasha, can you hand Rick my pack?" Sasha stared at him before walking over and handing the bag to Rick.
"Front pocket, there's an envelope." Aaron pointed.
Rick squat down and opened the bag. "There's no way I could convince you to come with me just by talking about our community. That's why I brought those. I apologize in advance for the picture quality. We just found QN old camera store last—"
"nobody gives a shit." Daryl cut Aaron off. Thea smiles slightly as Aaron turned to look at Daryl.
"You're absolutely 100% right." He turned back to Rick as he's looking through the pictures. "That's the first picture I wanted to show you because nothing I say about our community will matter unless you know you'll be safe. If you join us, you will be. Each panel in that wall is a 15-foot-high, 12-foot-wide slab of solid steel framed by cold-rolled steel beams and square tubing. Nothing alive or dead gets through that without our say so. Like I said, security is obviously important. In fact, there's only one resource more critical to our community's survival. The people."
Man this dude talks a lot, Thea thought she talked a lot. But Aaron had her beat. "Together we're strong. You can make us even stronger. The next picture, you'll see inside the gates." Rick started walking towards Aaron. "Our community was first construc—"
Rick puncheed Aaron hard in the face knocking him out cold. "That's gonna hurt when he wakes up." Thea winced, her nose crinkling.
